| Yes, I believe it is fine to take them to the beach as long as they are upto date on all of their immunizations. I would just watch for bigger dogs - some people take them off the leash on beaches. Also, that sand may get in the hair requiring a good bathing when you get home

| Take a bottle of fresh water with u, ive taken Chelsey to the beach last week and she loved to roll in the sand, but i could see that the sand got into her eyes and im sure that must hurt, i had a bottle of mineral water with me that was meant for me to drink lol... As Aimee said - make sure they are updated on the shots and watch out for big dogs running round unleashed!

| Surfing Sully....just kidding We hope to move to the beach in the next couple of years (as I'm FROM Charleston, SC) - and since we've had Sully we've only taken him once, and it was at night. I look forward to his reaction to the beach when we take him mid-May to visit my family. I'm excited already!

| If any of you want to take me up on the condo discount in Puerto Vallarta, you can get lots of pics of your furbabies on the beach! Also, Grrracie had a life jacket for going in the ocean! They are too little to go in without one! IMHO. |

| I took Kelsey to the beach she loved it! I didn't take any pictures though.. The sand is a bit messy..it get's in their eyes, mouth and hair allllll over! I gave her a bath as soon as i got home. She had a good time though, barking and wanting to play with all the children there. Since my kelsey is still very active and a baby, she wanted to run around with me and play the WHOLE time..so no time for me to relax and work on a tan lol...If your going to take your dog make sure you have no other obligations..haha.

I bought & took back one for Caesar. He would walk in it. I didn't care for the way it fit around his chest. Just wondering if yours is different than the one I bought? | |

| Max the beach bum I take Max to Galveston whenever I can.......he absolutely loves it....he tries to mark every piece of seaweed, shell, crab hole..... .....There are a few downsides just for your information: unleashed dogs....owners often let them run free rattlesnakes at the edge of the dunes during the springtime season sand fleas people who are drawn to our darling little ones and want to hold them but I just watch Max closely......and keep him on a long leash.....I will take little Maggie there in June...she is a wild child...so that will be an adventure. Your baby will love this new experience. Max and Maggie's mom

| Lucy loves the beach!! As we live in the UK, the beaches are cold and windy and the sea is muddy but she loves to run on the sand even more that grass! Im not at home at the mo, as I have some beachy pics of her on my home computer, but there is one on her dogster page!! |
