| Zoe just ate a boston cream donut Need advice! He jumped on a table where my friend left her boston cream donut. Its chocolate glazed on top with cream filling on the inside. I called the emergency vet and he said that its not life threatening but may have diarhea. Keep in mind that Zoe just recovered from diarhea. He ate almost the whole thing. What do you guys think?

| I agree with the vet --- Plus - there's nothing you can do about it anyway at this point - it's gone gone gone! Hopefully, your little pup want have any problems - but if he does --- I'm sure the treat was "almost worth it." You can't believe the things my dogs have stolen and eaten over the years. We've all been there. Good luck! Carol Jean |

| Thanks guys!! I am still very worried. I smell the donut in his breath! I will keep an eye out for him and my boyfriend will be home all day tomorrow with a credit card at hand in case he needs to run him to the vet. I'm playing with him right now and he seems fine. All that chocolate and cream can't be good for his little stomach. Let's hope this is a unexpected never agian TREAT! Please send good thoughts for Zoe! EDIT: he's sleeping but I'll keep an eye out for lethargy.

| you guys are making me feel so much better. You know how paranoid we can get. I'm like...he's sleeping is he lethargic? Is he breathing? I won't be able to sleep tonight. Boston creme donuts do sound good but I wish it wasn't here so that I don't have to worry.

| Really - I'm sure he'll be just fine. A little diarrhea should be about all that will happen -- and you may not experience that. Again - remember - he had the treat of a life time. Can't you imagine how wonderful that donut with all the trimmings tasted. Of course, you can smell it on his breath. One night I had a tuna fish sandwich disappear off the end table -- and I picked up my two cats and two dogs and smell their faces and breath and quickly discovered which one had enjoyed my sandwich. I think the little culprit smelled like tuna fish for a couple days....with no problems at all! Good luck - don't worry! Carol Jean |

| Zoe will be fine! My yorkie, Charlie, had the most sensitive stomach in the world. He lived on a special diet of Eno-Diet, boiled hamburger and rice. One night he snatched an entire slice of pizza, with everything on it, off of the coffee table. It was gone before you could say no. He was fine -- not so much as a burp! If you are concerned the Pepto idea is a good one. It will coat Zoe's stomach. |

| Yep... my vet said pepto is okay! I use the chewable pills hidden in butter. Today Tias stomach was making so much noise it kept waking her up!! Gave her a 1/2 of a pepto tablet and shes been fine all day.
