| ![]() I've been looking for a yorkie for past 2 years. It took so long BC I didn't find a local breeder that I'll like. not, until march 2006 when I found a great breeder 2 hours away. I saw pictures of the parents online, and I fell in love with this specific couple., so I put deposit on little girl, back in march, and I went and got LILO almost 4 weeks ago. I've pick LILO from 3 girls from that litter. She was the most outgoing one, and she wasn't afraid of us, when we tried to play with them. ,the other ones, didn't want to have anything to do with us, just crawl in the corner and shake from fear of people. plus that, even before I went to get her, my breeder told me that LILO is the biggest terror and trouble maker from the litter of 5 ( 3 girls & 2 boys).

| ![]() We had just lost Boog in September of '04 and I had mixed emotions about getting another Yorkie but couldn't find any other breed that really excited me. In March of '05 there was an ad in our local paper for a small male Yorkie so I drug my husband over to look...just to look ![]() ![]() As for Riley...he was a surprise from my husband after we moved to Florida. Jo needed a playpal and I really wanted a small girl but he took me to look at Riley. He was small too...2 pounds 8 oz. I think at 14 weeks and that's what I wanted to match Jo's size. He wasn't in the best of circumstances, he hadn't been loved on and was kind of shy...honestly, he was the scruffiest looking, short haired, long legged Yorkie puppy I had seen for a long time but he was from my husband so it was just fine. Boy was I wrong about Riley...he's turned out beautiful with a lovely silk coat...he's my ugly duckling story for sure! He was given a clean bill of health and brought home to meet Jo...they've been inseperable, best buddies every since! ![]() Now...if I could just find the perfect little girl or two....... |

| ![]() For as long as 1 year and a half I was looking for a Yorkie. A breeder was referer to me by a collegue at work. I know exactly what I was looking for, I even take canine psychology course to know more about dogs and to know how to choose the best puppy. What was sure was that my next furbaby will weight around 6-7 pounds. But when I saw that little tiny boy, all my knowledge fell down, nothing stand Even do I known that he will weight around 4 pounds I fell in love with him and want to go ahead with him.

| ![]() Tillys breeder had very resonable prices. It was where my mom got her Yorkie so I already knew the breeder and she was very friendly and caring. She still emails me and asks how Tilly is doing. We basically had a choice of Tilly or another female named Babee. Moms already had Baby and we were afraid it would cause to much confusion. Tilly melted our heart from the start!

| ![]() I had a yorkie before that died of Parvo, so after years of consideration and research I came across a breader not too far from my home. In the wine country actually, that's where he got his name from. Anyhoo-he was the smallest one with the hugest attitude! I knew he was meant for me after first glance. I got him at 10 weeks and Merlot and I have been together ever since. ![]() |

| ![]() Kizzy: I was looking for a small girl. this breeder had one wasnt suppose to get over 4 lbs and would be too small to breed. When I saw her I fell in love with her and even tho she was suppose to be 4 lbs and is 8 lbs now at 7 month, once you love one, you keep loving it. Maggie: first time i saw her, it looked like she had no legs. she was walking around on the concrete floor slowly and her hair was on the floor. looked like she had paws attached to her tummy. she was so cute. she was scared and was kinds crawl walking. she finally raised up on her legs and she still didnt have much for legs. she had the cutest face ive seen and her hair is so thick i can barely pull it apart and see her skin. I knew then, I couldnt walk away without her and I didnt. now I got her and Kizzy both and i'm a happy camper.I knew nothing about them except my sister in law had one already 10 yrs old, 8 lbs and beautiful, who i'm not around much as they are retired and travel. So i've learned a few things here and on other links people here have shared.

| ![]() I wasnt really intending to get a certain breed when I found the breeder who was selling Darla. I thought a small breed dog would be nice and had picked up a few books on different breeds. When I did go to the breeders house Darla and her brother were the only two left in the litter. I saw her from across the room and went right over to her..picked her up...put down my deposit and the rest is history!! With Reece we KNEW we wanted a Yorkie!! I called the breeder and she had two litters available but the first litter was selling fast and the second litter wasnt going to be ready for a month..I told her I would pick out a pup from the second litter as I was sure I wouldnt make it down to her home until late in the afternoon and she had quite a few appointments that day and only 2 pups left. When we arrived she made us quite comfortable on her beautiful porch and brought out the babies in a basket. After talking for a while I asked her if she sold the first litter or not. She hadent!! She had one little boy left..he was the smallest...cutest IMO!! I knew when I set my eyes on him that he belonged with US!! I put down my deposit and we are picking him up this weekend!! Dawn |

| ![]() Well when i was looking for a puppy i sent out MANY emails to breeders and when Cindy (layla's breeder) got back to me it turned out she had a litter ready to go right when i wanted to get layla (may.. when school was done) also we were looking for a female for under 1000. when the litter was born there were 3 females and i had to pick shortly after they were born. but from day one layla had the sweetest face. as she sent updated photos (she lives in Ohio.. i'm from London ontario) layla was always the cutest.. ok.. i'm biased! but i just had a feeling about her! and i was right ![]() |

| ![]() I picked up my Yorkies because they needed to have a new home . Nathan was only 3 days old . He was in a cage with his dying mother and dead sister . My friend asked me if I was ready to take care of him , I said yes and now he is such a sweet little guy . Jade and late Mitsou came from peoples who suddenly decided that they didn't have time to take care of them . |
