My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Housing area for 6 1/2 week old pups???? I've kepted my pups in a baby Play pen since they were born and I'm just wondering how everyone else houses their pups?? Is this ok to keep them in until they go to their new homes or is there another way to house them? I don't have much hard flooring. Only in the kitchen and dining room. My Utility room is being used for my other 2 dogs. Any ideas? (My pups are Chi's) I have 4, but my little Tia (cleft palate baby) I have seperated from them, so its to house 3 LIVELY, LOUD, HAPPY, puppies Can I get your advice??? Thanks!!! |

| I bought a remnant piece of linoleum and put an x-pen on top of it. It is in our carpeted computer room so no mess on the carpet. Works great!!

| i have to agree!! with yorkie3 , she gave me this tip also, so right now i have all 6 of mine housed just about the way she did. wipes up very easy because the puppies are at the stage where they are tearing pads and paper up.

I do the same exact thing! I have the linoleum in my sunroom (over the tile)... I currently have two xpens in there with two 5 week old litters of puppies.
