I have a little girl that is 2 years old and weighs 2 pounds.

Tye weighs 2 lbs and will be 4 in December.

Dexter was larger - he was about 11 lbs when he left us for Heaven in July.

Rylie is 7 and a half months and weights 6.2lbs.... but i think at least 1 of those pounds are just ears.

There is truly an amazing difference in the size of everyone's yorkies.

Monday I went to Petco for the puppy class and there were 5 yorkies including mine of all different sizes, 17lbs, 8lbs, 3lbs, 10lbs, and my puppy 1lb 7oz. We all gathered together talking about our yorkies and people came by pointing out to the different yorkies that's a standard (the biggest one), tose are toys (8lbs, 10lbs), that's a miniature (3lbs) and that's a teacup (1lb 7oz). I kept correcting everyone NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! they are all the same Yorkshire Terriers are a Toy Breed. It really started to annoy me.

they are toy breeds if there in the 4-7lb standard if they are over that well not really considered toy breed but this is a mixed topic i think some people will differ

IMO, regardless of whether or not they meet the standard, they are still part of the breed. A 10 lb dog is still a small dog.

the last time Remy was weighed, he was 3 mos. at 3.5lbs.

Bear is 6 months old and weights 6 lb 4oz. Of course, that was last month at the vet's; Bear has a very healthy appetite!
