| When is it ok to take puppy out? As for 'out' I mean to the park, walking on the sidewalks, getting them used to different surroundings, socializing with other dogs? How long do you have to wait after the last set of shots? My vet told me I can only take J.J. out for 5 minutes, in the private fenced-in backyard, where there are no other dogs. I was just wondering when it's safe for them. He'll have his last set of shots in 1 week, at the age of 12 weeks and a few days. And he cant wait to go exploring 'the great outdoors', sitting at the gate and looking anxiously at the passing people

| My Gracie is 9 weeks old. The vet said no dog parks. She can interact with other dogs who I know have had their vaccines. I live in a condo complex. She said Gracie can go on the grass but just watch to make sure she does not eat anything on the ground. She said I can walk her on side walks, just keep her away from where lots of other dogs might have been. I took her to the city park and let her walk on the gravel path. She had such fun! I sure hope I did not push it too much.
