I would give it to her every 2-3 hours throughout the night just to make sure her sugar doesn't drop too low. It is VERY safe. I have always done this with all of my yorkies and they've never had hypoglocemia. It is just a good precautionary measure.

Yes, please do so. She will most likely wake up enough to lick this off your finger. You need a little more than a pea size to begin. You can rub it on her tongue and gums if need be, too.

my wife telling me now it sneezes every so often any idea why? could be nothing though, she is covered in a blanket and window is closed although it was opened but wasnt really cold

also she noticed one ear standing up prob thats nothing right?

I forgot to welcome to you to YT!!!! Sometimes ears do not stand up. In many pups the ears won't stand up at first, but will then stand up, and sometimes they just stay down. No problem if you don't plan on showing, and droopy ears are cute!!!

I'm not sure on the sneezing. She could be having an allergic reaction, or she might have an upper respiratory issue, but that usually presents with coughing. If she begins shivering, then you have a problem that requires an emergency 24 hour vet visit immediately. I think it is a good thing you have a vet appointment tomorrow. That will make you feel more secure. Good luck with her tonight.

She is probably sneezing bc she is getting used to the air conditioner and dust, ect. in your house. Both of mine coughed and sneezed right when I brought them home.

ya pretty sure she is healthy nothing wrong but she is actually warm in her blanket, no shaking, cant wait for the vet tomorrow want to get everything done and then after vet buying puppy goodies need a little kennel and other stuff

Are you going to get Nutrical 2nite? Or Kyro Syrup? 2nite just make sure she keeps her sugar up (via Nutrical or syrup) and stays nice and warm! Then she should be fine until you take her to the vet 2morrow!

ok i got it the nutrical and vet said its fine, can feed it after or before she eats about 3 times a day is good, its eating more now and for the potty training well doing good, got wee wee pads and 1 day later she started using it not all the time but most of it so thats a good sign and i bought the trail size yesterday so prob will be buying 100pk for 30$ next thursday its going for the shots, the dog sneezes and so the vet wants make sure doesnt have something so we are keeping track of that and if continues might have to do something for that when we come in next week, there is a plan with our vet pay for puppies 130$ one time fee and 20-24.99$ a month so definetly worth, pays for everything all shots included and other stuff , the vet i goto are in petsmart stores there the ones with this type of plan i belive only

oh ya the dog does something called scooting i just learned the term from the vet but doesnt seem to be a concern for he didnt say it was a problem...why do they do this, they sit and slid across the floor, does it often and my other dog half lab and half pit in brooklyn sometimes does it but not that much

I'm a new yorkie owner too. Got my pup 3 days ago. I was told by the breeder to use Nutrical as well. I put a little bit on his dog food at each feeding. They did stress how important it was to use this with my yorkie to prevent low sugar. They said that even if he is eating well I should use it just in case.

I'm so glad everything worked out at the vet for you! Just keep an eye on her cough. Both of mine developed a cough right when I brought them home. My vet told me that it was just their body getting used to my home environment...the air conditioner, the dust, the carpet, ect. Most of the time it is nothing to be concerned about, but sometimes it will develop into a respiratory infection, so just keep an eye on it.

If she is scooting, she needs her anal glands expressed. You need to get the vet to do this. It is harmless, it just keeps her from scooting.

everyone on here is very nice and only want what is best for your furbaby. I have learned alot from this site, and gotten through some very scary moments because of the great ppl on yt. My baby is now 18 months old and as healthy as can be bc of love, her vet, and all the great advice i have recieved on here. Good luck. just had her expressed and the dog still doing it but not as much maybe once a day - to 2 days a day, before it was more then 5 times a day, her sneezing i'm sure is the enviroment since the vet said its healthy
