| This site is all about opinions, information, education and fun. It is a community. The OP asked if the pups looked purebred. Fair enough question and answered with opinions. Yes ALL pups are cute, but there are qualities apparent in a well bred yorkshire pup that are noticeable to those experienced with the breed. Were those issues addressed? You bet. Were other issues pertaining to the site brought up? Yep. Why? Because as a community we do what we can to aid those looking for information to learn about what is out there and what to look for and what to avoid. If we have to worry more about being carefully nice than being honest, then what is the point? I personally would much prefer to be told the truth when asking a question. If I was so overly concerned with recieving criticism on my site or my program, then maybe I should be doing a better job.

| I agree completely!! This is a forum. In a forum, you discuss things. It must be an open discussion, with some guidelines of course, but open none the less, or what is the point! |

Sistah I have a daughter in law, who married into the family 4 years ago. Since then she has repeatedly informed us that we need to send her birthday cards, we need to call them more often, we do not keep in touch enough, and so on. We had no idea that our family was so clueless on how to be a family. That is what you remind me of. someone who shows up and gets in on one thread and instantly makes snap judgements about the entire forum before you have even gotten to know us. BTW Welcome to YT. I hope you stick around and get to kow us. Someday you might be glad that you were able to get some honest opinions about something before you get scammed.

| JeanieK I have been lurking around this forum for at least three months. I only have posted a couple of things. I am NOT against this forum in any way shape or form. I have gotten some really good info on things directly pertaining to my little Buddy. For instance, I posted a note that he wouldn't walk on a leash very well. I was told to forget the collar and buy a harness. I did that, and the world changed for us. I am no longer afraid he will choke or hurt his neck. I appreciate the good advise I got here. I also DID NOT post about the problems I had with him with eating, but read many posts about other people that had the same problems and figured out how to get him to eat. I think this is a great website to discuss OUR Yorkies I am just saying that to say a business that is selling Yorkies in not legit without any proof is not very nice. Tell us about someone that bought a Yorkie from them that was not a purebred or tell us abut someone that actually bought one and is not happy with the way the transaction was handled. What I have seen here is a "few" people that have pre-judged this person with no prior knowledge of who or what they actually are. |

I really don't think anyone meant to bash that site, and certainly no one said not to buy a dog from there. I think the thread started as a way to get opinions. If you look back, most replies said they thought the yorkies looked purebred. Some even said the prices were reasonable. I don't think anyone meant any harm.

| It is not necessary to rely on information from someone that bought a Yorkie from them to see that they are advertising pups in a wide range of sizes "From the teeny tiny T-Cup Yorkie to the standard size Yorkie" and also that they're just fine with shipping 8 week old pups to whoever uses the myriad of pay options the fastest..Is this pre-judging? Yes. Based on the information they have on their site, this is a buyer beware market and we use what information is made available to make decisions and form opinions. Reputable breeders steer clear of those terms and wouldn't ever release an 8 week old pup.

| The breeder of the "stolen" photo at the bottom of the site is NOT happy at all...she will no doubt ask for it to be removed asap! This is an example of poor ethic's for any one interested in learning. |

Well what a small world! Yeah, the woman said that my dislike for her caused her to lose her appetite and ability to sleep. I never knew I had such power over people!

Does that mean that we have to wait for someone to get scammed before we can say someone is a scammer. You learn to recognize certain signs. If yiou think something doesn't look quite right, you question it, and others give their opinions. If this person is legit then hopefully he has learned what opinion people are getting from viewing his sight, and he will makes some changes, and therefore get better results. But his site read like a used car dealer. "Hurry and book your flights, these puppies will go fast." Well if they are going that fast then I guess what we are saying won't have much of an impact. We're just a group of friends sitting around chatting. Hoping no one gets scammed.

| JeanieK~ I agree with you 100%. I'll come right out and say it so there is no 'gray' area. Don't buy one of these pups. There, happy? A web site where you aren't given any information on the pup (pedigree, parents, etc) other than the picture and price, they oviously do little, if anything to screen their buyers, ship the pups at 8 weeks, don't guarantee against dehydration when you get then ( ), stole someone else's picture...yeah, they sound GREAT!Now, that's how I feel. If they or anyone else wants to threaten a suit, go ahead...it will be one of many. ![]() I for one am happy that this is somewhere I can come and get everyone's honest opinion on what they think about breeders. I can't tell you how many little things I've seen others pick up on that I would have overlooked. |
