| This is BAAAD guess what guys? My family's allergic to Trooper (the new pup). I am a little too but I thought I caught a minor cold. My mother is extremely allergic and uncle develops mini bumps after touching him. WHat do I do? I also think that the vet wasn't completely honest with me about checking everything on Trooper. He told me that Trooper got neutered and hip surgery the day I picked him up. He got hip surgery but no neuter although I can't tell if he still has balls. Theres a cut buy that area but no way is it a neuter. Trooper also came in with soft and liquidy stool but is getting better but smells horrible...now Zoe (my original pup) has soft liquidy stool that gets stuck. I spent an hour trying to help him get it out last night at 4:00am. I have been calling the vet since I discovered this but he will not be in until Tuesday. I will be speaking to him then. I love my little Trooper now and I hope there's a med my family can take although my mother is already taken meds for something else. Crossing my fingers that Trooper can STAY FOREVER! Zoe hasn't warmed up to him yet but I'm working on it.

| I guess I'm confused... you don't think that the vet actually neutered him? I can't see why there would be a cut otherwise. It's usually very small. Have you tried bathing him? Maybe the allergies are from something on him, like a past shampoo or perfume and not actually him.

| I can't bathe him yet. He just got hip surgery. I can't really explain the cut, its not a surgerical cut. I'll take a picture of it and post it up.

| I agree that the allergy symptoms must have popped up b/c of something that was used on him like soap, surgery prep medicine, etc. How long b4 you can bathe him?? I hope that everything works out! |
