| ![]() I love this thread! Lets see...Huey passes on a regular basis: toothbrush bristles, feathers, paper towels, hair and dryer lint. We occasionally get fuzz and white fluffy filling from killing his toys. He also gets hold of but so far hasn't swallowed earplugs, cigarette butts and twist ties. ![]()

| ![]() Wow thank goodness my two only pooped, Poop.....My daughter's Chow Chow ate a condom not only once but twice....she rushed her to the emergency Vets the one that's open 24hrs twice.....My daughter told me the most embarrassing thing to do was to tell the Vet and me what her Chacha the Chow ate..not only once but twice.....but better to be embarrassed then have anything happen to her furbaby...Now the Vet had to induce vomiting both times and told my DD her dog could die if they didn't make her vomit. And my friend who lives in Canada her dog a Sheltie ate a bag of marijuana it belonged to her teenage son....she rushes her dog to the Vets....and has to tell the Vet what her dog ate .... explaining it was she son's and not hers......She told me the Vet laughed and told her just to keep her eye on him he might act a little tried if the weed was good. Talk about being embarrassing! Last edited by JANICE C; 02-24-2013 at 05:05 PM. |

| ![]() OMG...these are too funny. My Yorkies have only pooped poop so far, and I hope that continues. ![]() However, when I was a kid we had a dog that ate everything. Once she ate half a dog food can she rescued from the trash after she pried the lid off while everyone slept overnight...it looked like it had been shot in half by a BB gun but the other half was completely missing. Another time, she ate 3 loaves of thawed but un-risen bread dough. My parents stayed up with her all night walking her, giving her water, and keeping her alive...no ER vets back then. She'd found a way to get up on the kitchen counter to get to the dough...we still don't know how she did it. Those are kind of weird, and we didn't witness the exits, but I guess at some point she pooped them... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | ![]() I freaked out! I called the vet three times. We went and had x rays done. It was so awful. Needless to say, I'm very picky about our babysitters now. I'm thankful she passed all the pieces but she could of choked! I still fuss on my husband about it.

| ![]() Now that my furgirls are almost 4 and 5 years old, and thank God better housetrained, most of the poop is outside. I don't go inspecting like I did when I was the nervous mom when they were babies. Still I remember the biggest surprises when they were little, like the Barbie shoes, the plastic eyeballs off stuff animals, and the one that most cracked me up was the glitter confetti that made sparkle poo, or the compressed paper napkin that looked like a long worm. Ohhhh, the days of training pups was full of surprises. One of the funniest things about all this is when I admit to my friend that I belong to a forum that actually talks about dog poop. No wonder they think I'm a crazy dog lady.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() The strangest thing so far is some cat hair. I have to stop him from licking the cat, the floor, my pants, etc. . .

| ![]() Well, I have a new submission. My sweet little SpyCee is still a silly pup (she just turned one) and goes in to "destroy" mode occasionally. Her latest victim was a bag of tiny hair bands that I picked up at a dog show. The bag was on my night stand and little Spy decided that the bag was a chew toy. I wound up with 1,000 bands (minus the ones she ate) on my comforter. I was a bit worried at first, afraid that she might get clogged up, but after a day or so I let my guard down. When I was on poop patrol this morning I got a HUGE scare. I saw what I thought was red worms in her poo - a closer look revealed that the worms were actually the bands that she had for a snack. Needless to say, I'm back on guard, watching for any signs of impactment! |
