| Need help with Zoe and Trooper Morning, I posted a thread last night telling you guys that I took home a yorkie (may be a mix - Trooper) that just got major surgery after getting hit by a car. I know that it will take time for them to get acclimated but I really feel that Zoe actually DESPISES Trooper. There has been NON-STOP barking by Zoe at Trooper at me at hubby at EVERYONE EVERY MINUTE. Zoe keeps running away from Trooper and will not touch ANYTHING that trooper has touched. I have not slept and I now locked Trooper in the crate. WHAT DO I DO? I really feel that Zoe likes to be ALONE. Have any of you feel that way about your dogs?

| They will get along sooner or later, It will take time for the older one to get use to the new one...He has been the only baby in the house and he is just protesting, but he will get use to Trooper..Someone on here knows what to do to help, the will get on and let you know better than me..but hang in there, its alway hard the first few days with any baby.....

| I know when we got our 2nd puppy, we kept them separate for a few days. We put a fence up to block the kitchen. Kept Piper in there until Misha got used to her. They started sniffing each other between the fence. Finally Misha wanted the fence down to get a better look at Piper. Best buddies now. |

| i wouldnt worry about it, when i brought brandi home zac hated her he wouldnt even look at her and just growled at her all the time, he wouldnt sleep near her sit near her or eat near her but after 2 weeks he started to sit near her and stuff and now he loves her to bits. just make sure you dont take any notice of her when shes playing up, when zac was horrible to brandi i just took no notice of him and he soon picked up that he got more mummy time when he was a good boy and nice.
