Oh, yeah, I learned just a "little" about Yorkies too (hehehe ). There are occasional arguments between members, but when you get a bunch of opinionated, Yorkie lov'n ladies all together, there's bound to be disagreement! I'm just glad that I'm never wrong!

Love you all!

Thankyou Nicole. I still feel like a newbee here. I love how everyone's thread has all kinds of neat things added. Still not sure how to do everthing yet. It will come with time.

I recently lost someone I cared about and it has been really nice to come look at pictures and read funny posts when I need a break from what is going on!!

Thanks YORKIETALK!! Everyone here ROCKS!!!!!!

Meg...thank you for asking .....He's not doing very well but at this point ...just waking up for him is a good thing. I feel the same as you - this is one of my escapes.

I'm sorry you lost someone....hugs to you and if you ever need to talk - just pm me ok ?

I think this is great i am so proud to be a part of YT even more so after yesterday. I am amazed how we can all pull together in a time of need. It was so emotional yesterday with Josie missing and none of us could leave the computer(Not that i can leave the computer any other time either(I'm not addicted )LOL) But we really pulled together as a family to support eachother. I have only been here since the end of June and i read and post a lot (LOOK OUT V) but what i love the most is the sincere things that people say and do here and i've said it a million times that V you are one of the greatest People here you go out of your way to help out and your always there for us all i am proud to be a part of this wonderful family and i hope that all the new people and the ones who haven't joined but read the posts can read this thread and want to be a part of our family to. Everyone needs to pat themselves on the back and kiss them furbaby's for bringing us all together. Thank you to all of you for bringing the joy to my day

I found this site after Phoebe very unexpediately passed away, 1 month ago.
I was so stunned by her death and could not understand how it happened.
I must admit I am still struggling with the how, I have accepted the fact that she is gone. Anyways, I posted what had happened and the response and support was overwhelming. Since then another member had the same thing happen to her. I was able to contact her through a pm post and at the same time continue to educate myself on this.
I guess this is how I see this site, is that it is a HUGE resource for people, and from what I have seen it has just about everything you may need.
You need prayers.......no problem
You need support ......no problem
you need to vent.......no problem
you need products......no problem
you need advice........no problem
you need a new baby(the furry kind).......no problem
There is so much more here and I only listed a few, people really do want to help each other, they don't want someone get taken advantage of because they don't know.
No matter what it may be, it is always better to have the information ahead of time and be prepared. For example, lately there has been several different post about flying with your pet. Can you imagine getting to the airport only to be told I am sorry you won't be able to take your fb on the plane because you didn't call and reserve, or getting checked and they ask for your health cert and you don't have it, because the airline didn't require it, and then told you can not take your fb. That is just one example there is so many.
Also I feel that YT really tries extremly hard to educate people that there is no such thing as a tea cup yorkie, and don't fall into this trap, sometimes that is not what people want to hear and take real strong offense at it.

However, if I come on to this site and it starts spitting money out at me I may get concerned that there really is a YT Mafia lol

Lastly(I promise) I am going to post this elsewhere. But thought I would share here 1st.
You may have noticed the fur baby in my avatar. Through the help of YT we decided to get a new baby. We have named her Anastastia, Annie for short. She needs to grow a little more before I can go and get her. NO, No, I am not asking for prayer, I have seen the power of prayer on this site and there is no way I could bring home a petunia pig.
She is not a teacup, coffee cup maybe. Just kidding. She is yorkie!

Have a great day and YT thankyou for all of the support & respect you have shown me.

I've been posting a long time on Yorkie forums...I remember when this site had less than 10 people and in the time I've been a member here - I think I've pretty much seen 'it all'....And my opinion hasn't changed one bit -this site ROCKS.

With the diverse and many many members here - I just want to say that in times of need....you ALL jump in with your hearts. I was so proud of the outpouring of compassion for Cindy - who just lost little Madda....and the Missing Josie. You all were just awesome.

Every once in a while - we see someone say this site is known for being judgemental (and a few other negative things) - I just want to yell to those people that they don't have a CLUE as to what this site is about. They need to stick around and see what REALLY goes on here and that includes BEHIND the scenes - There are far more positive things shared here than there are negative. Those are few and far between.

This site is way more than a few people - it's a whole LOT of caring people who really do love yorkies and care about their fellow members.

I've met some awesome people here and hope everyone has the same positive experience I've had for these last few years. Some people know how sick my husband is - and there are some days I just want to crawl into a hole and cry - but I can come on here ...read a few threads or look at cute pictures - and I forget all about my problems for a while.

Anyway - I just had to say that.
Well said Villette . . . . Yes, there are a few judgemental people here that thinks they can just say whatever they want to say not realizing they are hurting their fellow YT members and I was a victim of it . . . but the good outweighs the bad and there is so much more this site has offer . . . . and along the way have gotten close to so many members whom I have even never met . . . . I am here to stay!

great post Villette! You know, you're one of the reasons this place is as great as it is. it wouldn't be nearly as wonderful without you!

Every day I'm amazed at something on this site, and I look forward to getting on YT to see what's going on.

I've only been a member since March , this year and I've already seen the memberships grow larger everyday. And to vette, I'd like to say, I am one who didnt know your husband was ill. I am sorry and I hope things get better and I understand whole heartedly how it make you kinda at least have something more to enjoy than just worrying all the time over things. It is good for people to vent , its good to share the good and the bad I suppose. It has been a bad week for lots of people here and I share in your grief and concern. Even when things are really bad for a few, people still answer your post to try to help anybody with questions or concern for theirs too. I appreciate people here for being such concerned and caring people. I have learned a lot here, some I agree with, some I don't but isnt that what makes us all our on individual people? What would the world be if everyone thought the same thing. Goodluck to all in whatever goes on in the rest of your life and remember, no matter what you did or did not do yesterday, Today is the first day of the rest of your life to change things for better if it was a bad thing. I come here off an on everyday and lots of days I'm here a whole lot for a long time and something keeps making me come back. God Bless all.

I have been a member of other yorkie forums and yorkie groups in the past, and when I came across this one, I knew it was the one for me. Ever since then, I have came online everyday to see how everyone's lives were doing. This site has helped me alot in the care with my 2 yorkies. Without this site and it's members I'm not sure I could be as good of a mommy as I am now. I love my babies and I love to share them with all of you. I love looking at everyone's pics of their babies and hearing all the good and bad stories we have all experienced through time.
We have a great group of members and have gotten to know a few of you, and hopefully in time, I'll get to know alot more. You all deserve a pat on the back!!! You are def. the best!
