I am truly sorry you're going thru this. I hope you get josie back soon. I would think the police could send a report to the police there and they could go out and ck things out and if your puppy is really there, they could take it until one of you could prove it was your dog. And if you get her back the other girl to me could be charged in receiving stolen property knowingly,(as she is not the one who actually stole it) and arrested for grand theft, blackmail and spend a little time behind bars and the other 2 boys could be charged with conspiracy to commit grand theft by giving away stolen property knowingly. I dont know much about the laws there but I personally would try to get them all charged with something. |

This is just asinine. First they dog nap Josie then extort you for money. Give me a break. Why in the world if you found a dog like that would you not look around locally before giving it away?!?!? I would have done a reverse search on that woman's number and showed up on her door step. |

oh please give us an update even if it's no new news i have a bird that got into my basement and i can't stay away from the puter to go find it and get it out(besides i'm terrified of it) I went down a min ago and i can't find it so i will sit here for an update first. o i would call the police again and let them know about the money situation i'm hoping for a happy ending but i'm afraid this girl won't give her up it's taking to long you need to take action now get down there if you can and go get her i think she's got some tricks up her sleeve i could't sleep all night worring about your baby and this woman i'm praying for a safe return.PLEASE let us know what's going on!! |
Wow! What a turn of events. Thank God she is ok. First get her home then deceide what to do. I would not give the reward to anyone. What is the matter with the boy who found her? Did he think she dropped from the sky? Why did he not call police and report a lost dog? He needs an education in ethics! As far as the girl is concerned press charges for kidnapping since she is requesting the reward. I would also be very much afraid that if she likes Josie so much they might come back and try to get her only next time be quiet about it. Prayers coming your way until she is safe in your arms. |

Glad to hear you were able to track her down...what an outrageous story. Your hubby is SO good for doing all this. I would feel the same way-very upset and hard to swallow what happened. I wish you luck in getting your baby back. If I were in your situation, I'd drive to Santa Barabara and knock on the darn girl's door demanding my baby back...it belongs to you...you can't just keep someone's dog because 'you've always wanted a yorkie'. that's crazy. We've had many many dogs come up to our driveway in the past, we'd take them in, post up photos and knock on nearby doors in hopes of finding their owners whom I'm assuming are at a complete lost by the missing dog. Shame on the girl. |

That woman has NO RIGHT to demand anything.:mad: If she was half a human being that puppy would be in your arms right now. I would do a reverse lookup on that telephone number and get her name and address and show up at her door with the police demanding she give me my baby. Please keep us posted, I have been thinking about poor Josie all day and all I want is for her to be brought home to mommy where she is safe. |
