| Wild Yorkie On The Loose!! OMG has any of you gone through the wild yorkie phase. Starsky was running around like a crazy dog, snapping at my feet, hands where ever he could then he was bothering my beagle too. I growled at him and laid him down to show who was boss (the submissive hold) and he still went nuts. I finally put him in time out in his Kennel until he settled down a little. It worked and then he came out to chew on something and then he went back in his kennel and went to sleep. He was acting really strange. He slept most the day and he just had to get his wild side out. It rained all day here so he couldn't go outside much and run. That's a side I haven't seen yet. Anybody else seen this? And what did you do? I hate it when he mouths me and it gets hard. It hurts!! Usually I can get him to chew on something else but me.

| I had to put Hefner in a timeout today for aggression! He was going after Chai and Buddha out of jealousy and just selfishness. He gets lots of love and attention from me but sometimes he just goes nuts and has to get it out I think! I think the timeout for biting is the best idea! |

| Gucci used to bite our toes when she was younger. She is 9 months old now and she grew out of it. When she used to bite I always tell her NO Bite and gave her a toy to chew instead. It took awhile bit it work. Good luck. |

| Jack goes nuts about 10 minutes before bedtime. He runs around the house so fast that we call him the bullet. As soon as he is done he lies down and is out for the night. I guess he is getting out that last bit of energy before giving in to lala land. He is 6 months old.

| Bella is five months (I'll post pictures soon) and she nips at my feet all the time. She loves to do it when I'm on the phone or paying attention to something else. I'm breaking her out of it by spraying some of that nasty tasting stuff on my toes. I did it last night and boy was she surprised!! I also give her something to occupy her with and correct her by giving her a sharp NO! Before bed she goes crazy running all over the place. It's like she gets a burst of energy. I've been trying to walk her longer to help her burn some of this new found energy. I read somewhere that Yorkies at the age of 4,5 and 6 months are in a stage considered their terrible twos. Any attention, good OR bad is attention to them and I think they do anything to get it.

| Bella does this at least 1 x a day. I am hoping it's a puppy thing, in fact she is in her playpen in a timeout right now

| Your thread made me laugh ! Yeah, Schatzie has her moments that's for sure. Normally it's taken out on her sister Annabelle, boye do I feel sorry for her at times. Once Schatzie get's that 5 - 10 minutes of her wild spell out she's pretty good. Cracks us up at times.

| try living with Simon ;) Simon is WILD ALL THE TIME!!! He wakes up running like a mad dog with his soccer ball, mind you he sleeps with the ball too! He is so high-energy! I always say he has a permanent case of the wiggles! Poor Hallie, she hides from him sometimes b.c of his craziness. I've learned to accept it and appreciate it. He's "special" |
