| Sleeping Problems- Please help! My yorkie D O G is 1 year old. He has decided that he does not like to sleep at night. He is in a crate in my bedroom and has slept in the crate for the last year but now he whines and cries all night and neither of us get any sleep. Please help! |

| That is strange!!! Is it an option to try and let him sleep with you? i know some people do not care to do that but maybe he will be comforted by you if this is an option. Sorry I might not be much help - hopefully some one else can shed some light for you. Good luck!!

| Thanks for the reply. After an hour of torture I tried that and he thought it was play time so I put him back in the crate and he started whining AND barking. |

| If you don't mind letting him sleep with you, I would just put him in bed with you and when he starts trying to play, lay him down and tell him "NO! It's night night time!" My 13 weeks old little girl wakes up sometimes and tries to play, and this is what I do to her. She settles down right away. |
