| Rudy got stung by wasps about a month ago, he swelled around his face so i took him right away to the vet and he got a shot and then was fine. Doc said next time to give him childrens benadryl a dropper full. If Baby Gene didn't have a reaction right after it happened and is fine now she whould be ok. Rudy got stung in the face. He was fine within a few minutes after he got the shot. Sending Baby Gene feel better wishes

| When did it happened? How big and old is she? Usually if they are going to have a reaction it will happen within about 30 min. I personally wouldn't give her any Benadryl unless she show any signs. Rudy was stung by a lot that came out of a bird house I bumped in the yard and Rudy is alway right by me. Poor Rudy was the only one stung.

| She will be fine, if she had a reaction she would have got welps on her stomach and around her eyes. You are just being a good mom with your worry.

| Yes, I had my Yorkie get stung several times many years ago. He had no terrible reactions to them, thank God. If you don't see hives or whelts starting but sense some pain, I'd give half a baby aspirin. I am no expert, this is what I'd do if I didn't have that 6th sense telling me to get to the vet asap. |
