I Am So Mad! Since today is Baby Jane's birthday. I decided to that we'd take a jog in the neiborhood(sp). And to get my parents a rest. So Baby and I were walking and we met fews dogs along the way. After they were out of site. A pick-up truck zooms by from behind us and two men were in the car and three men were in the back. The one of the men from the back yelled " Fu***** N*****!" and threw a large rock at us. It almost hit Jane in the head but I push her and it hit me instead. I got a good bruise too. I picked up Jane and ran home. And told my parents. I started crying and was very upset. Why do people have to be so mean? :cry: |
Its unbelievable the ignorance of people. I am spanish but i guess I dont look it, you would be suprised at the comments I hear when people dont realize I am spanish. You should see the look on thier faces when I tell them in a somewhat abrupt way that I am spanish and would appreciate if they would keep thier assinine predjudiced views to themsleves :D . Im pretty brave when I have a 1o5lb. shepherd and a husband who is 6'6" by me lol. I am so sorry you had to go through that but dont let ignorant people like that get to you. Just hold your head high and know that not everyone has those views anymore. sue :animal-sm |

I'm sorry you had to go through that. People can be ignorant. I would still call the police department or have your parents call and report the vehicle. Even though you don't have the license plate number you can still describe the vehicle and the guys inside. I assume they were high school age, but I could be wrong there are some adults that act like idiots too. :rolleyes: What a bunch of morons. |

But the thing that gets to me is that they said. I mean many people have said it to me as if joking but I really don't think its funny. I would never disrespect anyone's culture. Wow, I'm so sorry you had to endure that kind of racism. To be honest people are bad a whole lot of the time. People are the worst thing to ever happen to this planet but mother nature will win in the end, she always does. That's part of the reason I love animals so much. Yes, please report the incident to the police. It may not help you in this case but race crimes are reported and it's important that the community have them on record so then maybe the politicians will do something about it. |
Im SO sorry about what happened..some people are SO mean and to think that they will pass this crap onto their kids and so on.Its awful to think that in this day and age there are STILL people like this..I just dont understand it! I know what its like though..Im english but liv in spain and I have to put up with dirty looks and stupid comments daily.My husband is spanish and I have to hear thing like "this stupid foreigner comes along and takes one of OUR men" or "The english are dirty..stupid,huligans,sluts.." etc etc.Anyone would think Im from another planet sometimes!:mad: It used to bother me but it doesnt any more,I think its pathetic when grown ups are shallow enough to judge people by where they´re from or the colour of their skin...they are the ones losing out;) |
WOW! I can't believe that! How can anyone be so nasty? We are all God's children, and He loves us no matter what color, race, etc. I am really sorry you had to go through that! As a white American, I am ashamed of what we did to the black race, and also what we did to the Native Americans. I could hang my head in shame whenever I run across either race. Thanks. I have cooled down alittle. I have forgiven those guys but I WILL NOT forget them. My mom said that everyday brings new tests and chanllges(sp) that you have to pass on to the next day. Plus you have to forgive but not forget. And remember of what you are and who you are and don't be ashamed of it. When my mom told me that I thought it was very deep and very true too. |

I am so sorry.......that brought tears to my eyes as I read it. You are a good person, you show that with the love in your post about your yorkie....thank GOD you pushed her out the way....I hate you got hit, but that could have killed her and you if it would have it you in certain places. Jhordan, I am sickened by what happened to you...and so grateful for the strength of you & your mother. It is a shame that some choose violence as a way to prove their ignorance. Unfortunately, many are victims of such ignorance, whether it's because of the color of our skin, our clothing size, the mate we choose, etc...and I truly believe it is through your strength & beauty that we all can overcome prejudice. |

OMG!! Are you serious????????????? How awful! I am sooooo sorry. I try not to be hateful, but there are so many bad people. I think black people are so beautiful, I don't know why people are so hateful and ugly. I am caucasion, but there are black, hispanic, asian and indian people in my family. When are people going to teach their children that racism is wrong???? I am so perplexed there can be people like that. I just think how sad that their hearts are so ugly. I'm so sorry you that happened to you! Those creeps were most likely bigger than you and more of them, and were also in a vehicle when they shouted and threw the rock. As far as I'm concerned, they were a bunch of cowards and wimps and out and about looking for trouble and if they can't find it, they'll create it. Really ticks me off! My grandson's are part Black and my grandson was called the "N" word at school the other day and was very hurt by that. I guess this sort of thing happens all to often anymore and for the life of me, I can't understand why people have to be so hateful. Anyway, best wishes to you and bless your heart for being forgiving...I know that's what we're supposed to do, but it isn't always easy! That is just plain terrible !!! I know I would be furious and I dont blame you one bit. I would have been stunned. My husband would have gotten in his car and done God knows what to them! I'm so sorry that some people are so stupid. Some people will never change ... I'm hispanic and at my husband's old job the owner used to tell jokes about Dominicans and my husband didnt care if he was the owner or not. He told him in front of everyone " You know my wife is from Dominican Republic don't you, so your joke is not funny to me.You could hear a pin drop when he said that! I hope you are feeling better. We love you! I think that is terrible! Once when I was off at school, many years ago, a group of rednecks chose to yell at me that I was fat! I cried so much! Those people are pathetic that did that to you! There is idiotic prejudice all over the place and it doesn't make any sense! I couldn't agree more with what everyone else has said in response to this horrible incident! Unfortunately, as Harbinger said, people are seriously flawed and there is no way to eliminate eveil from our world, but we can continue to learn and not our own hearts be hardened by the ignorance of others! I wish you could prosecute them for their actions. They need to not continue to get away with this type of behavior so it doesn't happent to others. They need some consequences for their actions! In the end, everyone suffers their consequences for the wrongs they have perpetrated. Those people are carrying some real bad Karma and it will come back on them later. |
