| My momma got a little scissor happy I am terrible with a pair of scissors!!!!! I kept cutting Jewels hair under her tail because it would get dirty. I now have cut so much off you see her poor stub of a tail! She looks so funny. I hope it grows back soon! This is why I won't be doing any of my own grooming. If I did My poor dogs would probably be bald in spots!!!!!

| Funny you mentioned this as I plan to shave around my yorkies bottoms this evening cause it has dingleberries with an electric shaver. I've had it since Christmas but have been scared to use it. I hope they hold still I cut on Bitsy's hair after she had her puppies and she looked pitiful but thankfully my groomer straightened it out. I'm no good at it either! Going to the groomers, IMO, is money well spent.

| Thanks for asking iheartyorkies! I'm actually trying to tear myself away from YT so I can take a few pics and post them! Except for not eating well and swollen teats, Bitsy seems to be doing good. I have an apt. to take her into the vet early in the morning and have her checked over good! I'm going to post an update and hopefully pics in the next hour or so. Please keep in mind that they need a bath and look a bit scruffy Meant to do it today but haven't had time.......but then again I've been on YT a good bit today

| mybirdys2003- Yes Jewels is doing very well. Shes not as tiny anymore. She has a big appetite for a dog so small. I don't even give her nutrical anymore because her she just eats so well and is so active. Thanks I am gonna have to put up some more recent pictures.

| Believe it or not, I bought a horse Trimmer at Quality Supply, It is the finishing touch trimmer---looks like a moustache trimmer, but it is really quiet and fast. They said they use them for the show horses for the hair around the leg. She doesn't seem to mind it at all and believe me she hates a lot of stuff I do to her. I use it for the ears also. |
