| are you living there now in huntsville? i'm in al also and the vet my sisinlaw works at charges a $25 fee just for going in which bumps up their prices alot also they charge for nail clips $7 each and so on...well they charge more for everything and i have been going there the whole time we lived here but then anotehr local vet costs less so i started going there! they charge $20 for basic shots! which i was paying over $45 each time at my inlaws office...so well i go to the other one now! i would go elsewhere personally i think they over charge because people just don't know any better! |

| When Meg got sick it was after hrs so it was considered an yrs visit our vet came back to the office and then she wanted to keep her overnight on a iv when we called the next morning to see how Meg was they said we could pick her up at 5 pm. The vet had her for almost 24 hrs 7pm to 5 pm the next day sent us home with 2 30 day supply of meds. it was only $220 total. 75 for the after hrs call 20 to look at her and the rest for meds and the stay. I gave them 95 the first day and when i picked her up they said it was a total of 220. i made payment arrangements and was off. next thing i know they said i was paying too much the 220 was the total and they didnt see the 95 i already gave them. I was happy for that i thought the 220 was for the stay and meds and i like our vet. so our prices dont seem to bad now. |

| good luck i would also tell that vet if they call back that they are too high and shouldn't take advantage of people who lobe their pets enough to make sure they have the medical care they need! there are many people who don't pay after taking their pets in to the vet but that doesn't mean the rest of us should have to pay outrageous prices !it adds up after awhile and the extra money could be used for quality dog food or even a nice collar/harness/toy. |

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | we just got Peeka and Boo's shots today and it cost us $100.00 each it's ridiculous to have to pay this amount they charge almost $40.00 just for an office visit and when Peeka hurt his foot they wanted $131.00 for an x-ray!
