So I go up to her and she keeps her head down and I said you said she was 4,she replied...no she is 6 I said that would be seven she was born before4/99 she argue no she wasnt . I said I can't believe you wasted my time driving down here blah blah... and turned and told my DH let's go!!!

She had the nerve to call me on my cell and tell me I was rude, I said I guess you forgot you lied about her age since you just told me she was 6. She said she brought her Mom's dogs papers.Yeah right! Oh boy I went off!! So my search continues. I looked this morning and she has changed her ad to say she is noww 3 years odl. I wish I could find that fountain of youth.

Oh my gosh! The nerve of some people. Do people really think we are that dumb?! I feel bad for the pup. But I'm glad you didn't pay that lady any money. She doesn't deserve it.

I'm so sorry you went through all of that traffic, not to mention the gas, for that. That's really sad. You all must be exhausted from such an awful trip. Poor little doggie, too.

WOW what a... well you know what I mean. I can not believe that she tried to scam you like that!! I would report her to the paper she is advertising in. I feel so bad for you though getting all excited and then going all that way for nothing. Well I am sure the perfect yorkie is out there waiting for you dont give up hope.

I am so sorry to hear about your horrible experience . . I hope that will not discourage you from finding the perfect playmate Rocco . . . 12 hours of worthless time . . . ugh, some people sure have the nerve!

How can people do that?!?! I could only imagine how upset you are but the story is kind of funny. One minute the dog is 4 then 6 then the papers say 7 now she is 3. If you are still looking for that fountian, could you pass it on when you find it? Thanks!

When I started to read this thread I was so excited for you. I am so sorry. I can't believe she tried to scam you. Did she really think you would fall for it?? Traffic, gas, time unbelievable!!

I would have blown off....driving all that way with gas prices to end up being scammed. Actually, I think my husband would have blown off. He doesn't let stuff like that slide. Poor dog, though. Who knows how many more people, this lady has tried scamming. And who knows how many fell for it.

Yep I was mad, but more stunned at how she thought that she could pass that dog off. I do feel bad for the dog but.... Geesh! We spent about 80 dollars on gas. I still want to call her and front her on the ad change!

Do it! I'd also call and pretend you are someone else and ask questions about the dog and act as if you are interested....then after talking to her for awhile, confront her and see if she gets all on the defensive side.
Me myself, would record her and then turn it in. But that's just me.

Yes that stinks .But I have drove down to South Dakota and all the way to upper Wisconsin to Not buy the Puppy I thought I was interested in but didn't have the right face or I didn't like the parents ETC....... ETC .......... My husband just goes with me, and doesn't say anything we call it our time because we don't bring the kids, he even knew when I went to get my stud that I was buying him, He seen him before I did I was looking at the parents. And my husband says You'll be coming home with us. I went over to my husband and went oh my GOSH, that is exactly what I was looking for. That would be my Tucker. He had gone with me enough to know what I was searching for. The search is worth the wait believe me you will know when it is the right one for you.
