| Does anyone else's baby sleep like this? with their head hanging off whatever their laying on? Kizzy does this a lot. So today, i'm not even sure she was sleeping as she jumped in the chair when it seemed like she might be angry at me. She started ringing her bells again going out the back and right back to the front door. After about 3 times I went to the back door and would call her and make her come all the way back and in thru the back door. The first time I did this. She ran in and jumped up in the chair and this is how she acted. She wouldnt look at me when I called her she would just change her position of her head and even when I got the camera out she didnt pay any attention to it like she usually always looks right at it. So I was wondering if she was maybe pouting. I'm not sure since she does fall asleep so fast once she lays down. Its like boom, head down, shes out. anyway, pouting or whatever here are 3 pics I got when she wouldnt look at me. Usually even if she is sleeping, I call her name her head comes right up to look at me. But not today and it was unusual, thats why I wonder, was she pouting or do they do this sometimes and is this their way of pouting by not looking at you when you call them. shes never done this before.

| Keelie does that occasionally! I guess she's telling me "Go away! I'm sleeping!" in her little grumpy way.

| She may have been pouting. When Muffin would pout, she'd turn her rear toward me and lay flat down, put her head down on the floor and if I called her name she wouldn't raise her head up at all until she heard me get up and start toward her. Kacee pouts, too. She'll ignore me! I guess you ruined her new game!

| Ginger is the complete opposite. She always has her head propped up on something, whether it be my arm or a pillow...

| Sissy will hang her head like that sometimes if I'm holding her. That 2nd pic of Kizzy where she has her head turned backward - that is Sissy all over. It cracks me up when she does that!

| I think your little pup was just tired. Personally - I don't think dogs pout. I know a lot of people read this into their behavior at times - but I don't think this is what is happening. I know sometimes my dogs lie around and just don't seem as responsive as usual. I'm sure sometimes they just want to lie around and rest - don't we all???? Carol Jean |

| Lola was sleeping like that, with her head out of her puppy bed. It looked so uncomfortable. I just ordered her a new dog bed so that maybe she can spread out more instead of having to curl up. This is the bed I ordered(the picture is from the site, that's not Lola) |
