| question about purchasing a new yorkie boy I have been looking for a male yorkie. Well it hasn't been easy. I get the feeling some people would take money from anyone just to sell their puppy. I also have run into very few people who test their dogs for health problems before breeding. They put up impressive web sites and when you call and start asking questions they have no answers. Well I have run across a couple of older males 9-10 mos old. They are not house trained. How hard is it to teach a dog that old to use the potty out doors and not on the floors? Anyone purchase a pup that old that was not house trained? thank you!

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Welcome to YT! You come to the right place to get your questions answered! I would think with lots and lots of patients and if you stay on top of him, you could train him. Do you work or stay at home? it makes a difference if your going to be home with him all day. Good luck and I hope you find a baby for you to love real soon! |

| i agree with you. it took me over a year to find my yorkie baby. good luck. patience is important. when i was looking i refused to purchase from the breeders that seemed like they were only in it for the money and not for the love of the breed. |

| thanks. I am being patient. I called a lady today her web site was so warm and I thought I may have found the one. Well she only wanted my money in her hand. I purchased my girl Paris from a yorkie talk member. I have been watching the threads and haven't found a boy in my area. I am so sad about all the people producing babies and not even knowing if the parents have anything that could be passed down to their babies. I know if you don't have testing back a few generations their is no guarantee but at least if you test the parents that is something, I know they can still get sick even if the parents are tested but it does say that the breeder cares about her dogs and the puppies she or he is selling. I get scared even thinking about getting a sick pup after all I read on this site. I'm amazed more people don't test.
