It's not bad. You may save a buck or two by going to Pet-Smart if you have one in your area, but really...$9.00 isn't bad at all. I get Stedman's Nutri-Cal at PetSmart for $7.99 (+ tax of course) lol

Our first vet visit was about 50 bucks, and has been about the same each time we took her.

The first visit was $45! That included shots and deworming. They give a complimentary dose of frontline and heartguard!

Boy - that can vary a lot.

A "well puppy check" isn't a lot - but you may want a more thorough exam - or there may be something the vet wants to check out just a little more. Plus some vets just do more than others do....and charge accordingly.

And shots -- some puppies go in needing shots - others may not need any shot for several more weeks.

Hard to compare!!!!

I think my first visit was about $85 - maybe a little more. My pup didn't need any shots that day and he had no apparent problems. Plus I am a regular at my vet's office (for shots and any serious problems that arise) - so he knew that I wouldn't hesitate to return if I had any problems at home.

All I know is that my puppy's heart was fine, his knees were great, and his testicles had already descended. He weighed in well (a fat little guy), and I could attest to the fact that he had a healthy appetite. He was playful, happy, and affectionate. He checked his mouth, ears, rectum, etc. -- but there just didn't appear to be any problems whatsoever. So - we got an A-okay and got to go home.

Dixie's 1st vet visit was 120, shots, nutrical, and i bought cans of the puppy food they had there since she hadnt eaten much in 24 hours...vet said she was healthy, and adorable and probobly just needed to get use to being here and not with her mom and litter mates.... she ate the canned food mixed with her royal canin and was fine

Mias visit yesterday was only 27.00. $15 for the shots and $8 for some nutrical and 3.30 for an interceptor pill . She gave her a free exam.

Gia's visit was $37.00, but the next day we had to take a poop sample to test for worms that was $15.00. Then I had to end up taking her back the next week for constipation & an enema that visit was $55.00. She goes for her second set of shots Friday only time will tell how much those are ???????

Spencer's first visit was around $55....my vet also gives the free heartworm pill & sample of frontline....along with a puppy pack with 5 lb. bag of Science Diet puppy food. I think she's awesome & very reasonable!
