| What made you decide... between a boy Yorkie and a girl Yorkie? I'd love to hear how you decided! |

| I wanted a girl so I can make her a girly girl And dress her up. Plus I thought that only girls squat when peeing and I didn't want a boy to lift his leg in the house

| I chose a girl because of the whole lifting the leg issue and a previous male terrier I owned (cairn) was aggressive. But when I went to p/u my girl, I got a wonderful surprise and realized I was also getting her brother!! Now I love them both equally (But I think my girl likes looking pretty more than my boy, haha)

| For me it was the price. The girls were so much more expensive! We love our little boy! |

| I could only find boys in my area if I found one and the price but I am excited now because I am getting a girl that I can dress up in dresses and all girly who hopefully likes to dress up and be in a carrier!

| I wanted a boy because I don't like little girl human children - I like boys way more, so I wanted a boy dog Plus, I have had girl dogs in the past and wanted a change. p.s. Stewie squats to pee. Never lifts his leg

| I picked a girl because:

The lifting leg and marking issue
I have 2 daughters and I am very "girl" oriented and thought I would bond better with a girl
I wanted to dress her up and put bows in her hair, etc. and I knew my husband would not go for that in a little boy.
|

| How did I decide? A male was available (& was cheaper!). All things being equal, I probably would have chosen a female, but I couldn't be any happier than I am with Joey. He's my heart dog!

| My husband calls me pet sexist but I don't care, I prefer female pets. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I dislike males, but I like females more. I guess it's because I've always wanted a daughter.

| I love little girls. They are so sweet, at least, in my experience...
