| Wrong way to use potty pads.. Haha... I just found out that I have been using the potty pad the wrong way the whole time! Princess goes outside to potty now but she will still use her potty pad in the bathroom sometimes. I put the blue side up and the white side down... I thought that they were suppose to pee on the blue side.. not the side where the pee can soak in. LoL..I think its easier though because everytime she pees on the blue side, I can just wipe it off with a paper towel!! I also don't want to switch because she's used to it now.. I bet I am the only one who has done this huh?? |

| well, it sure is pretty genius of you coz then you don't have to replace the pad tooooo often! If Annika wasn't such a wiggler I would want to do that too |

| i do that by mistake sometimes.. i dont think its good, cause instead of the pee soaking in, it run on the pups paws when they pee and it gets all over them... its plastic so it run real fast... not a good idea... then the pups paws will smell

| That is too funny..lool..I never though about that..Since Coco's favorite thing is to pee and watch is soak up, I don't think that would work for us. But really genius..lol...we've got a money saving tip right there.lol

| what ever works for you. I put mine in a shallow plastic tote. I was thinking of switching to newspaper. But not sure it would save money. I'd still have to buy the newspaper. |

| I used to put mine in one of those big trays that go under a washer ( I had 3 dogs paper training at a time) It hald 3 pads so I would cover those with newspaper and peel off the top layers a few times a day till it was fresh paperl When I got down to the pad I layered on more newspaper. I got mine from the free ads that came in the mail or the lady at the post office would save everyones newspaper that they threw away as soon as they got their mail. I never lacked for newspaper. Bad thing was if hubby was actually reading a newspaper they sometimes would piddle on it if he set it on the floor between pages They even peed on daughters notebook for school |
