| I brought Georgie home at 10 weeks and he weighed 1lb. I wouldn't be concerned just careful. Make sure you have nutrical on hand just in case she becomes picky. Other than that you shouldn't have any concerns

| I have 6 Yorkee's and my Vet told me with my oldest 2 to keep food out @ all times for them until they are a year old...(I was worried with keeping food out @ all times for them that they would get fat....My Vet said NO it's after a year that they do that.) Tiffanie & Teddy is 1 & 1/2 now and they are happy, fit Yorkee's...Tiffanie is 10 lbs 4 ozs.(Not due to eating to much, she is just a bigger Yorkee) and has NO extra fat on her) Teddy is 6 lbs 7.2 ozs and healthy and has NO extra fat on him. Now @ their age, they let me know when they are hungry...Usually when we eat our meals they eat theirs...Altho Teddy HATEs his food bowl empty...I keep it full @ all times for him or he's bangin' the bowl & barking all the time...But they don't eat on it all day long just when we eat. Our puppies are almost 11 weeks old and are healthy...I keep puppy food out for them ALL day long & will do so until they are a year old. I'm no expert here on the weight but my babies weigh: I just posted this on 7/17/06 : My babies were 10 weeks and 3days old yesterday and I weighed them and this is their weights: #1. Male: 2 lbs. 11.4 oz. #2. Male: 3 lbs. 4.6 oz. #3. Female: 3 lbs. 2.6 oz. #4. Female: 2 lbs. 13.8 oz.s. Hope this helps U some?? Hugs, Lee & Babies |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali was 1 lb at 10 weeks and now weighs 4 1/2 lbs. She is 1 year old and still gets 3 meals a day. If I don't she vomits bile! I am now starting to cut back a bit on the amount I feed but not the number of times. CAli suffered from Hypoglycemia and as a puppy had to eat every 3-4 hours. It just depends on the puppy.

| I have a 15 week old that weighs 1 lb 5 oz and she is a picky eater. Thank goodness for nutrical cause there are days when she won't eat at all. I'm at my wits end. She'll eat ice cream and yogurt all day if she could but wouldn't touch the dog food with a 10 ft pole.

| Coco was 1lbs at 12 weeks!!! She was soo tiny and now she's in the 4 lbs range. I free fed her (left food out 24hrs/day) and she is a skinny mini and she is 1.5 years old. I have been trying to fatten her up but it's not working

| Wow my spelling in my first post was all missed up Gia eats but to me she just seems real tiny, the vet said she'll get to be around 5 or 6 pounds but I just don't see it...Even though I kind of would love her to stay around the 3 or 4 pound range but what I want isn't important I just want her to be healthy |

| Karma she will probably be around 4 -41/4 pounds full grown. Free feed her (food down all of the time) and give her nutrical in the am and pm before bed and she should be just fine. |

| Ceeby weighed nine ounces at eight weeks old and 1.2 at twelve weeks. He is a little over a year old now and has weighed three and a half pounds since he was seven months old. he needs to fill out some tho and I'm hoping he will gain maybe another pound but the vet just doesn't see it. he is so active. i feed mine wet food in the morning and leave dry down for them at all times. |

| Teeth This isn't exaclly about size but sort of. When I got my puppy she was real small for her age but when I took her to the vet, he questioned her age because she didn't have all of her puppy teeth in. I'm wondering if Yorkies are late getting their teeth or did the breeder perhaps fudge on the age to make me think she was going to be smaller? Thanks |
