Forum Addicts I feel so much better knowing I am not alone..but I knew it from a past experince. A number of us here met on Yorkies Direct..it was the first Yorkie Forum I got addicted to...THEN it went down. Members were going crazy, I got so "strung out" from withdrawal I called the site owner...and others did also, We were begging and pleading for it to be FIX it. ..that is when members started looking around and LUVMYPUPSTER told me about this site. After Yorkies Direct was fixed it was learned they were a puppy mill using the site to sell pups..so it died in one day, everyone left!! I, we would like a written guarantee from the adminstrator that this Yorkie forum will be kept up and running, promise us you will neglect your family and friends and do all that is possible to keep this forum alive and well. Have you ever seen "Yorkie Forum" withdrawal"..it is a ugly sight. I swore up and down I would not start using again..and now I am hooked. |

i think i'm an addict too. i'm on here all day at work. it's the first thing i check in the mornings, lol. are internet goes down alot and i go into a panic when it doesn't work, lol |

My husband is amazed that I can spend hours obsessing over other people's dogs. TOO MANY of my sentences these days start with "A post on YT said" or "There's this lady on YT"...or something similar. |

I am addicted too, after I lost my yorkies Shelbie I would sit on here and read posts and cry all the time, then I would start posting. My husband felt so sorry for me he finally agreed it was time for another yorkie so we will be getting her in June. Now he thinks I am just completely hooked on this website, and he's correct, first thing I do when I get in from work is put down my purse and run for the computer to see how everyone is doing. I may not talk alot but I do keep up with everything going on. :) |

I haven't been here too long but I'm an addict.. I was addicted before my Yorkie even came home and now I'm on the forum even more that she is home! You guys are a great group! :D |
I know the feeling! I am always on here and when I am not, I want to be on here! The prob about being in the UK is that everything goes on when I am asleep! I was on here till 1am last night, I logged on at 10 in uni after my first lecture and there were like a billion new posts! So with everyone around me doing work, there is me on YT lol :) I love it! I'm hooked too, as soon as a customer comes into my store I go offline, but then as soon as they leave I think, Oh I will just check to see if there is anything new. I finally figured out how to put my signature on, I feel acomplishment for the day. Thank you all for being there, I wish I had found you 4 months ago when I first got Jack. |

I am so hooked! All my free time at work is spent on this site. I may not post alot (on the shy side), but I'm always here! All I do is tell my husband about Yorkie Talk, and all that I'm reading and learning. He knows I'm obsessed! When I walk in the door at night, my attention goes right to my Harry & Paris, then to my Westies, and then to him..LOL. |
Forum Addicts I too am addicted. But that's OK, right? My boyfriend says "How in the world can I person stay on a Yorkie talk so long." Then I'll catch him out of the corner of my eye looking at the other yorkies, or trying to read the forums. He's funny. He is absolutely taken with Frankie. Said it would never happen. Yeah, Right. |
I joined recently and even before I had my own name(screen name) I still would read when my best friend was on . over her shoulder..heheee :) She got me hooked! I'm not sure if any of you have the same problem..but not too many of my friends get as much of a kick out of all my " oh my goodnees YT this and YT that." :D I am totally addicted and I dont post too often, but I'm up hear checking in with everything thats going on. Sometimes dinner doesnt get made , I miss my fav t.v shows..I havent had a shower :eek: ..and I'm STILL sitting in front of the computer glued to ...Yorkie Talk!!! :D I think I may be addicted..mind you I still have no yorkie, I just enjoy all of yours from a distance Love you guys @ Yorkie Talk to peices :aimeeyork |
Im an addict also. I went to bed at 4 am. I had to wake up at 8 am to get my son ready for school and can you believe i came in to check in around 9:30 am, and haven't left. Yes-I too, am an addict!!! I am going crazy just thinking about next week when we will be on vacation!! It will be a very bad case of withdrawl!!! My hubby will not let me bring my laptop with us. I"m totally addicted I"m on here all the time from 2:00 to about 10:30 I put laundry in washer but it never makes it in the dryer until im off at 10:30 then i go to bed i wake early to get laundry done vacume done dishes done i run around the house trying to get everything done by 2:00 ,some times i dont get supper done until about 8:30 my daughter comes in and says when is supper and i tell her real soon and she says you said that a hour ago then i do hurry and get supper done then im right back here :) |

I know I'm terribly addicted to yorkie forums. I started out on maltese forums and then joined YD a long time ago. It had all kinds of tech problems and would send all of us addicts into fits when we couldn't get on. We were totally dysfunctional. Then I found this forum and alot of the old YD members flooded in. Many have gone on to other forums but several stayed on to enjoy the population explosion this forum has seen. Anyway, I love how this forum has grown! I'm a die hard addict , I frequent & enjoy many of the yorkie forums and chats. I really like the high traffic posting on this one, There is always something new to read! |
Is this a bad sign Ok, I just saw how many posts I had and I have somehow managed to upgrade to Senior yorkie yapper in the past 1 and 1/2!!!!! I thought my office mate was bad cause she is on the boxer site all the time, I think I might be getting worse. I think I need YT (yorkie talk) Annonymus (sp) :D |
