| Special Yorkie Trick? Okay guys! I know some of you have trained your 'lil ones to do special tricks. What special tricks can your yorkies do? Mocha can do the standard stuff like sit, lay, shake, find ball or special kind of toy. He can also walk on his back 2 legs (hind feet) about 3 feet. But the cutest thing he can do involves my parents dog. My parents own a shih tzu named Miki. Miki has a special talent for singing. You knows those popular squeeky balls found at Petsmart? Well one squeek of that ball will send Miki singing and howling! I've taught my Mocha to squeek the ball, while Miki joins in and sings! So now they are what you would call a "doggie musical duo." LOL! So cute. If only I knew how to upload a video, I'd upload it to this forum to show everyone! Now if only I could teach my Mocha how to sing as well. But he will have none of it. He likes to play the instrument not be the lead singer I guess! One trick I am having a hard time teaching him is how to roll-over. I know this is a simple trick that should be easy to teach. Does anyone have any good pointers or tricks?? Any advice would help. Thanks! |

A longtime member just posted a thread teaching a few cool tricks. My guy has already learned how to "crawl." It's no dog-band like you have, but it's cute. Here's the link to those tricks. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45977

| Thats really cute. You have to post pictures of them doing that. My two can't do very much I have been having trouble getting Abigail to roll over and put her head down when she lays down. My boyfriend's parents have a poodle who stands on his back feet and twirls and all the other stuff and he howls when he hear the fire dept. It's so funny because my boyfriends sister had to teach him how to bark and howl because he wouldn't ever bark or howl and he is like 4 or 5 years old. She just taught him last year.
