| My babies are barking at nothing! Gizmo and Gidget are barking at the air today! I have no idea why! One will start barking (usually Gidget of course!) and then Gizmo will follow. They will just walk around the house barking! Neither of them are looking at anything in particular! I do believe that dogs can see and here things that we can't! What do you all think?

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Kloey did that once and it freaked me out, she went under my bed and was barking and growling for over an hour, I took a flash light and peeked under there and nothing! we took her on a car ride to get her to calm down and when we returned she went right back under the bed and did it again! so maybe your dogs are seeing a ghost! boooooooooooooooooo lol |

| Yep, they are suppose to have really good hearing. Maybe they are hearing something you're not!

| Believe me, there IS something there, maybe a poltergeist, or some strange smell. A storm might be brewing, etc., but I promise, there is a reason! |

| The same thing happened to me the other night, Dennis was barking at something he saw by the staircase. All my babies have done this in this same spot. It was pretty scary especially since there was a thunderstorm at the time. He not only barked, but he seemed to intently follow what ever it was that he saw. |

| Our dog's strongest sense is their sense of smell (far greater than ours), and I know for a fact that they can hear things that I can't hear. But - dog's eyesight really isn't their strongest sense. They don't really see as well as we do. ***** Sounds like one of your dogs is barking at something he senses - and the other is a copycat. I have one of those little "copy cats" at my house. Carol Jean |

| Topher does this, too, and I'm sure that he sees things that we don't! My son is convinced that Topher sees his grampa (who is no longer with us)..I'm not sure about that one. Topher also barks when something in the room has been moved, or something new has been put in the room...amazing what he finds scary or interesting. I'd love to know what they're thinking! |

| 2 nights ago i was holding dixie on my lap, kids were on the floor near me playin playstation...it was raining, .she started barking like crazy, a few seconds later it thundered real loud and a bolt of lightning hit the pole outside my house...everything out there was bright white like i never saw before, and sparks were flying everywhere.....i grabbed her up and the kids and we went to the stairway away from any windows, it was scarey and i was thinking did dixie know it was coming or was it a coinsidence? i dont know but maybe your right and she sensed it?? there was no other reason for her to bark, she loves it on my lap and being cuddled elaine |
