| Isn't Enterococcus a bacteria that attacks birds? I have never heard of the other before. What did the vet say the treatment was? I mean is it life threatening or something common. I would think if the puppy is young and it is life threatening then you may have a case. Michelle |

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | This occured in Nov. when Dayzee was 4 months old when we bought her. You have a year to take action in CA. I don't know what the disorders are--I'm not a vet--but she was on 3 different meds and was one sick puppy for the first month we had her. |

Anything that you due will help someone else from getting hurt the same way that you did. Please be careful when it comes to posting names and such- . I have continued my fight to show that I was right and to try and protect others. Sometimes you have to just stand up and take them on. Best of luck to you | |

| I was not being rude to you in any way. I simply asked what it was becuase I had not heard of it before. I figured that any vet would explain what the medical terms mean. I know I would have asked what they meant. I still think that since the puppy was so young when you bought him that it is obvious he wasn't healthy. Sorry you didn't get the outcome you wanted. I am glad the puppy is better tho. Michelle |

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Em, I didn't take what you were saying as rude. I was only saying I had to dig to find the diagnosises (sp) and I really don't know what the infections were/are other than it was several weeks of different meds and visits to the vet. I thoroughly trust this vet--we've gone to him for 10 years--and he has not ever steered us wrong (to my knowledge). The puppy had a slight cough the nite we bought her but the seller said it was only stress. It wasn't until the next day when we realized it was more than stress and then we couldn't get into the vet until the day after. I only wanted the seller to pay their share of the vet bills and we wouldn't have landed up in court.... |

We will be re-filing if we can find anyone else to tell the same story.... |

| The horror stories I have read on these threads regarding purchasing a sick puppy from breeders tears my heart out. I had no idea a person much less a breeder would deliberately sell a sick dog to someone for so much $. Everytime I read these nightmares I thank my luck stars that I was so lucky in buying Buddy.( From a private pet store). How naive I was and I am very gratefull he was healthy. Good luck to you in whatever you deceide and I hope and pray your furbaby gets healthy and gives you years of happiness. |
