| OK I'm Dog Show Challenged. The Nebraska Kennel Club is putting on a dog show in Omaha in a couple of weeks. I have never been to a dog show and would like to go but I don't want to feel stupid once I get there. They advertise that they will have Agility, obedience, and conformation. The cost is $6.00 My questions are: Do I pay the $6 at the door and then I can wander around and watch what I want to watch? Do they have all these competitions going on at the same time in different areas? Are they going to give me a program that tells when every event is schedualed to tke place? For example when they are judging the yorkies? http://www.nebraskakennelclub.com/ |

| I've only been to one dog show (would like to attend more in the future), but at the ONE I attended it was one price to get in and you can go anywhere, I could've bought a program, but just went to where the toy dogs were and they had times posted for the Yorkies. It was awesome so take your camera. Can't wait to attend another. Also, I was able to speak with some of the Yorkie owners and most were very, very nice and answered what ever questions I had.

| show Here in the US, catalogs are not free $4 to $6..but they do have a list of events by the catolog area as rule telling you what is going on..times etc...each ring has a list of the breeds and times...and whether you pay or not depends on what door you go through. When I go to the fairgrounds at West Palm I have found only the front door has a ticket taker..but all the side doors closest to the parking lots are open to anyone..they must not care if people pay or not!!! They charge for parking..but if you park across the street it is free... |
