BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Lillies food intake I wanted to ask you a question concerning Lillies food intake. When she gets up in the morning from sleeping all night, she should eat right away in my opinion, right? well she wont eat right away and it worries me, I dont want her sugar level to drop, the only way I can get her to eat is if I mix her food with a little cooked egg. do you think this is ok? I give her maybe 1/4 cup cooked egg with about 1 TBS of her hard food. If I dont do this, then she wont eat till maybe 10am or sometimes later, I even try to hand feed her the food but she just wont take it, then around 3 or 4 she will eat again, I leave her food out for her and it's in the expen and I put her in there every so offten to potty, get a drink and eat, I cant leave the food out of the expen cause my husky will gobble it down. Any ideas? |

| I think that is perfectly fine (eggs in her food). Georgie doesn't eat until about 11am or so, I wouldn't worry too much but I would give her something she likes to make sure she gets something when she gets up. You may also want to try plain non-fat yogurt he will eat a lot earlier since I have been giving him that.

I was just worried cause she only weighs 1 pound 7oz and they told me to watch her cause after sleeping for that long of a time, in the morning there sugar can drop and she could have a seizure and I sure dont want that to happen, so I want her to have something in the morning. | |

| Lillie is so tiny. I would give her a little Nutri-Stat first thing in the morning. Just to be safe. We'd love to see pictures! |

| When Joey was that tiny, I gave him some Nutri-cal before he went to bed at night. After the horrible and frightening hypoglycemia episode he had, I sure didn't want it to happen again and it never did.

| Missy I know they say yorkies shouldnt get too much protein. I'm not sure if that is true. But eggs are protein so I would check with your vet. You may need to switch her food. Maddie eats Royal Canin and loves it. She eats first thing in the morning then again about 4o. I bet she is a little cutie pie!! Cant wait to see her again |
