| Urgent Question Oliver may have gotten ahold of some children's vitamin C tablets. We know he didn't eat many (if any) does anyone have any information about this? Is it harmful? Thank you!!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Do you have a 24 hour clinic near you ? When Chanel caught a toad one night I called mine and they were really helpful...I can give you their number if you want to call and talk to them - they answer ALL questions I don't know anything about Vitamin C...but it won't hurt to check with a vet never mind - I have them on the phone right now -

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | GOOD news- even if he ate a couple they said he should be ok - his urine may be bright yellow or orange though - lol - which makes sense they said unless he ate alot of them that you probably don't need an ER Trip.....keep an eye on him just for any behaviour symptoms... |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | well i know with vitamin C in humans, once your body absorbs its daily requirements the rest will just be filtered out thru the urine. Its a myth that the more vitamin C you ingest when your sick, the better you'll feel. i would still call the an emergency vet or the animal poison # just to be sure

| There is no concern for Vitamin C toxicity. Any extra will be harmlessly excreted in the urine, unchanged. |
