| I dont carry Chachi 10 lbs in a bag. I do have one for Jewels who is 6lbs but that is heavy enough to me. I always take Chachi on a leash. Theres really not alot of dog friendly places here I can take either of them in a bag so it really doesnt make a difference

| I bought one for Sean and found that it was too difficult (heavy for me) to carry him in it. He's about 12 pounds. It would be nice to have something for him, too, since he wants be picked up during long walks. I've thought of a stroller but not sure if he'd stay in it. |

| What about the Knap-sac type carriers. You can wear them front and back and I'm sure 12 pounds wouldn't be too much.

| What about something like this http://celltei.com/classicpakopet1.html - gives you the option of carrying it several ways if he gets too heavy for you.

| Thanks for your replies. dinek I am afraid she will be to heavy for me too. I really wanted a cute stylish bag that her head could stick out. My friend has one that I am going to try. If she seems to heavy we may have to do without.

| I walk with a cane and would love to be able to carry Topher in a bag, too. (He weighs 10 lbs) I saw one at Walmart the other day that I might try. It was only $14.00Cdn and it was like a backpack only it fit on your front. I did try him in a couple of bags at a pet store once and he didn't like it a bit..lol..though we did try the one where the front and back legs stick out....he didn't seem to mind that at all and he didn't seem uncomfortable. I'm still up in the air with what I'm going to do. If I find any great solutions, I'll be sure to announce it here. |
