| Update on Mia Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you the latest on our little Mia. The vet appt. went great. She checked out fine physically, & they called & said her blood work came back normal! Right now she is tuckered out... we all are! She slept a lot yesterday, & then we all had a great sleep last night! She woke up this morning feeling like herself...she is eating, drinking, playing, growling (she is very vocal & does this little gizmo voice ALL of the time). It is just wonderful to have her energy back in our home! It still feels surreal, like it was just all a bad dream. She is having a nap at the end of our bed right now, & we just can't leave her side!!!! We are going to take flowers & $$ today to the woman who gave us the call that she spotted Mia. She refused a reward, but I looked her up & found her address. We just have to do SOMETHING for her. She could have easily said, "Oh, they'll find her. .. I have to get to work." We would have paid any amount of $$ to get Mia back, so we have to show some token of our appreciation. Thank you all so much for your support. I was reading the 99 posts you all have sent to us on the last thread, & we are just in awe about how much you have cared for & loved us. We pray that God will bless you all for that! Thank you, & if there is anything we can EVER do for you, please ask! |

| Thats great news about Mia, and you know there are still wonderful people out there, flowers and a Thank You card do wonders. I sent one out to people that helped us when we broke down out of state. Glad your family is all together.... |

| We are all just so glad that you found little Mia. Happy endings are always the best. I'm sure she is so glad to be back home. I saw on another post that you asked about GPS for pets. I was on a website today that had the collars. They do look very bulky and are definitely not inexpensive. Plus, they have limited tracking based on distance. The most expensive I saw $599 could only track up to 1/2 mile.

| hollyb, I was down visiting my daughter in Raytown, just one neighborhood over from Blue springs. I would have loved to have met you and Mia. but it looks like you were busy. Perhaps another time. Ill let you know when we are going down again if you're interested in a meet up. I met another lady in my daughter's neighborhood that has two yorkies, I told her about YT. I hope she gives it a try. I'm glad that all is well with Mia, I hope the experience didn't leave her with any emotional scars, it had to be so traumatic for her. |
