| Sounds normal to me. They grow like a weed and then will stop for a little while and then start another growth spurt. |

| I would be more concerned that Boo hasn't gained any weight than Peeka putting on a few ounces. Beauty did the exact same thing. But she gained 4 oz in like 3 days but she hasn't gained much since that first week I got her. She is 13 weeks and weighs 1 lb 13 oz I am so hoping she will go through a growth spurt soon because I was hoping she would get up to like 5 or 6 lbs at maturity!

| Looks to me if I read this right that Peeka has lost weight (.58 lbs), not gained it. I would be more concerned about that than Boo not having gained any weight. |

| She said Peeka has gained 9 oz, but the math is wrong unless she got her dates and weights mixed up. The difference betwen the high and low weights is still .58 lbs. (9.4 oz). Quote:
Then he was 1.3 lbs when i got him on june 26 (this is a loss of .4 lbs.) Now he is 1.12 lbs today? (This is a loss of another .18 lbs) 1.7 lbs. on 6/23 and 1.12 lbs. on 7/7 is a loss of .58 lbs/9.4 oz. Unless I am reading this backwards? | |

| If the puppies are eating like little pigletts, are pooping and peeing machines and are playing like madmen, then I wouldn't worry. I am obsessed with weight. I weigh my puppies several times a day.... just cause. I have found that through out the day they will gain a 1/2 ounce and lose an ounce and gain it back, depending upon how long it has been since they ate, pooped, drank water, etc. The big key factor here is are they eating, drinking peeing, pooping, playing and sleeping? If they are doing those things, then they are probably ok. If you have serious questions or concerns, it might be time for a check up with your vet. |
