| Izzy's first Grooming, Now she's itching like crazy Hi! Izzy had her first grooming on Saturday - She did great and looks great! But, I noticed once I got her home that she was scratching at her ears like crazy. She didn't do that before the grooming - not like this anyways. Well, she's scratched one ear so bad on the inside that she's made it bleed. What's the best thing to do for this to help it heal? Do you think it could be something that the groomer used to bathe her in? Any suggestions would help greatly! I've always just used baby shampoo to bathe her with and she has always been fine. Maybe it's just because they shaved her ears and it felt weird or irritated them - who knows!!??

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | If she's scratching THAT bad - I would pop her right into the tub and use whatever you've been using on her and RINSE her very very well.....poor baby ...being itchy is no fun at all. Maybe put a tiny bit of ear powder in her ears if they're bothering her Do you think the groomer got water in her ears ? They sell drying agents that will clean and dry out the ear....if you think she did - watch her carefully - I have a cocker that gets an ear infection just LOOKING at the bathtub ps...If you want me to fix your avatar so it isn't itty bitty ...send me a pm ok ? |
