| "paging mikey, line 101" soooo for all of those who know, i quit my job at abercrombie and now i'm working at best buy. i've been here almost a month and i've YET to recieve a personal call. so when they paged me to pick up line 101 i was like "hm what me? why? oh dear.." so i pick up the phone. and it's my pet sitter. "mikey, sigh, there's been an accident." you know that feeling when your stomach falls out your butt? yeah. that was me right then. mrs. sandra had taken baxter and her two weiner dogs for a ride. with the windows down, they drove by a stop sign where people where walking and they were saying "hey puppies" and all that stuff. well, when she stopped at the stop sign, baxter either jumped out or got excited and fell out. onlookers said he fell directly on his head and his neck. keep in mind she drives a big blazer so this was high off the ground. she jumped out of the car and she said he was screaming and crying and dissoriented. she headed straight to the vet.. but on the way there he started acting fine and playing with her dogs. so she called me at work and i FREAKED out.. they let me leave (thankfully my manager understands that my dog is actually my son) and i got to where they were and he was much better and very happy to see me. i've been here every since watching him. we called the vet and they said as long as he's not in pain or throwing up he'll be ok. i've felt all over his neck, head, back, teeth, tail, etc and everything is where it's suppose to be. my nerves are totally shot. i dont know what i would do if he got seriously hurt. he's the most important and cherished thing i have. |

| awwww poor Baxter!!!! That's the exact reason I don't roll down the window unless Coco is harnessed in. I'm too afraid she'll jump. Three dogs must be hard to handle. I'm sure she probably felt bad about it. I'm just glad Baxter is ok, I know how much he means to you Sending Baxter loads of kisses.

| Ohhhh! Mikey, I am so sorry for you and your boy. What a scare! I think I would feel the same way. Tell her-windows up next time - lesson learned! My husband drove off with our siamese cat on top of his car once. She was hugging down on the car and you know siamese - what a crying fit she was. Luckily someone motioned to him and he stopped at the corner, put her in the car, and returned safely. It was the last time she ever jumped up on the roof of the car. T. |
