| How do you get your baby to like the KONG? I got my babys, Bella and Bunny, a kong a peace. They like the BP stuff I put in it but they only lick on it... Its like if it takes more then licking to get the stuff out they dont wont anything to do with it. They only lick the goodies out of the tip when its over flowing and then just leaves it alone.I have even tried only filling it half way and they just smell it. I hope I didnt wast money on them. Is there a way to get them to like the kong more? |

| I've never had one so I have no idea. I guess maybe like everything else they are all different. Mine are not real crazy over any treats. maybe when they get older, but right now they are more interested in playing. |

| Perhaps what you're putting in there is not to their liking. I used one with my previous dog and it was her absolute favorite treat. We used peanut butter and...her favorite...cheddar cheese (just cut it up and jammed it in!) I bought a teething Kong for Topher and he loves it too. I give it to him every night while I'm on the computer and it occupies him for about an hour. He likes cheddar cheese in his. I tried him on the bigger one (the red one) but he still likes the teething one for some reason. Perhaps because it's a bit softer than the red one. I'd find a treat that they really, really like and jam it in and see if it works. |

| I've been wanting to get Ziggy a Kong. Is there a certain type that's best? I've seen various kinds in the stores.

| When I had a pomeranian, she used to only lick the peanut butter and then walk away. My yorkie is very picky. She likes to chase her Kong when there are treats in there (that she doesn't like), but she can never get them out and loses interest quickly. She doesn't like it when it's empty either. Also, when the Kong bounces and rolls on the floor, it scares her!! I guess every dog has their own likes/dislikes... maybe yours just doesn't like the "world's best dog toy". It's like, when you buy an expensive toy for your baby, they play with the box it came with instead.

| I just recently got a Kong for Kona. I also bought the little liver treats. I'll put 1 or 2 in there and she is busy for at least an hour. She loves it. I haven't tried putting anything else in yet. |

| Sully could care less about his kong. I wasted the money on it, too, but that's how it goes, LOL. Sully loves washcloths tied in knots and goodwill stuffed animals that I get for 25 cents each.....so much for the expensive stuff, eh?! LOL. The only time I got Sully to like his kong was when I stuffed a piece of sliced cheese in there and put it in the freezer for a couple of hours so it took him a while to lick the cheese out. But when he was done with the cheese....so went the Kong, haha!

| I bought two different Kongs and both have been a waste. Then first one I threw away because I couldn't get the gunk mix I put in it out (after one use) so I bought another to try again and put different stuff (Bella's fave mixes) and she wasn't interested at all. She'd lick but that's about it. |

| Note to all YTers whose pups do not like KONG----SEND ALL KONGS TO ME! Edie can't get enough of them. She is obsessed. And I have never put food in it. For Edie, Kong=Crack---wish I knew why. |
