Topher loves his carseat and refuses to sit anywhere else, now. I guess he feels safe in there. I was surprised how inexpensive this one was...in Canada it was under 40.00 and I've seen them advertised in the U.S. for around 20.00.

Thanks to Gutu28's thread on that website I too ordered a lookout back carseat (as I already have a console one) and they are indeed inexpensive as compared to any other sites I have seen.

Tiger and Annika tested it last saturday and they love it. They are attached to a coupler since the lookout I ordered is designed for only one dog but big enough to accomodate both babies. Awesome . . awesome . . awesome

Here are pictures of my babies enjoying the ride on the console lookout carseat . .the only pain is putting these console's on (at least on mine) so notice that I always have a fleece blanket over it . . this way I don't ever need to wash it

Here is Sissy, fresh from our first road trip. The car seat was fabulous!!!
(Lookout console - I got mine on Ebay $50 included shipping).

Awww Sissy and Pita seem like they have a lot of the same personality traits. She looks so happy in her carseat!

It's funny cuz my family calls me Sis... I'm 41 and they still call me that.

I forgot to comment on the other photos!!! I love Starsky's smile! Was he barking out the window in the 2nd picture? Pita goes crazy when we go down one of our back roads where the trees hit the car.

Tiger's mom- your babies are sooo sweet! I know what ya mean about getting the covers on. and the hook that came with mine to hook onto the harness was very big and heavy for a small dog so I rigged a smaller one to it. It's strong but it's not as heavy as the one that was originally on it.

Glad to meet you Sis. Sissy is named such partly because when I saw her photo I exclaimed, "what a little Sissy" and it just fit her and partially because my beloved aunt who passed away last year was named MaryJane, but she was #6 of 7 kids and always referred to as "Sis". So Sissy's name is a tribute to her also.

I searched on shopping.com to find a good price for a car seat. There was the Lookout one on Pet's Edge for $20 but then a week later the price went up to over 30 dollars. So I searched on shopping.com and found one for $17! The same one is on sale at Petco for $40. I can't wait to get it!

Just make sure you know the one you're ordering. If you search under Lookout alone you will find the Outward Hound Lookout and these are the ones that you can find cheaper. The true "Lookout" brand are always expensive. You won't find these under $40 anywhere, and then only when on sale. These are the fleece lined ones that fit on a console or on a seat. I hope whichever one you bought works for you and your baby.
