| I don't mean to beat a dead horse since it sounds like this has been settled but I completely agree that Kizzy doesn't have a cotton coat. I have 1 cotton coat and 2 silky coats and the cotton coat mats like crazy if not brushed daily- I mean BAD! Also my silk coats tend to be the ones who look scraggly or stringy, the cotton coat always looks fluffy and like YorkieRose said, like a teddy bear. The cotton coat also grows much, much faster. Kizzy's coat looks on the thick side and I bet once it comes in it will be beautiful! |

| Kizzys mom i have a 6 month old male and he is the same way he NEVER mats but i can wash his hair and brush him and no matter how much conditioner i use he is straggly in 30mins....but he feels silky to me i am wanting to get a pic of him on here soon so everyone else can see him....his eyes are redish gold when in the light so they say cotton but i dont think he iwll be cotton he is to silky feeling i think....i will try to get his pics soon so everyone can give me some input also because i worry about his hair being so straggly also i dont understand why i can brush it every hour and it is still the same 30mins later....this is a good topic |

| maybe it is yellow i am seeing and not gold...i really dont know how to tell to be honest thats why i was wanting to post a pic so everyone else can see what they think also....but no matter what he is i still love him i just think it is neat going through the puppy stage where you dont know but still you love them sooooo much lol |
