				   | I gave Pita a baby carrot last nite and she thought I gave her the very best treat ever! She chewed it into lil bites and then ate it like it was a piece of candy or something. I would think this would be good for her but do you think it's too hard to digest? |

				   | Carrots are fine for dogs. I feed both of my dogs carrots and they have no problems. Although their poop is a bit orange later on |

				   | I heard about carrots as treats when I first got Hefner but he just chews them up but spits them back out and I ended up with a mess. I wish he liked them. I haven't tried them on Chai yet. |

				   | Wow I thought it was strange that Pita liked carrots so much, I guess it's not all that unusual! I think it's great tho' keeps her busy for at least 15 minutes! |

				   | Baby loves carrots too! She actually loves all vegetables. When I get a salad, I pick out the things I don't like and she eats them: tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and so on. Everyone thinks she is silly. She likes fruit too! However, i think that this goes back to what we feed our dogs, if we all did the natural or raw food diet that I hear so many of you talking about (and i'm now looking into) we wouldn't think it was weird for our dogs to eat something that was not brown and crunchy! |

				   | This may be a dumb question, but do you ever get concerned about them biting off too big a piece & choking? I have been tempted to give one to Kodah, but I still hear my pediatrician echoing in my head how dangerous it is to give young children carrots! I know, I know, dogs & kids are different, but just wondered if this is ever a concern. |

				   | rachelfraim, that is not such a dumb question. i was wondering that my self. i cut the carrots up in small bites to give to mine so there is no choking hazzard. Ahia gulps and Buckeye savors.

				   | I cut Sydnee's up also, plus her most favorite thing in this world is spinach. Go figure that one, she even eats cooked onions. All veggies she loves with only a few fruits that she doesn't. Now why won't she eat Innova. Its all natural. I bought a different brand of cottage cheese the other day because I wasn't at my regular store and she won't eat it. [ I didn't like it either though, but who knew she would know the difference ]
