| Does anyone else's Yorkie do this? When my husband and I leave Lillie home alone, to go out to dinner for instance, she will run to the front of the house where there is a big bay window and watch us back out of the driveway. More often than not when we come home - sometimes after 2 or 3 hours, she will still be sitting in the window! Does she sit there the whole time waiting on us, or does she somehow sense that we are close to home? |

| I would say that she may hear the noise of your car or even a random car...and will run to the window to investigate. |

| Yes! Ours do this too! We bought a window perch seat at petsmart (it's really used for cats) and our dogs do the same thing! It's so cute to pull in the driveway and see them sitting there looking out and waiting on us to pull up! Then they start barking and meet us at the back door

| She may reconize the sound of your car. I let a friend park his Harley in my garage. When Asia hears his Harley pull into the driveway she runs to the garage door because she knows she is going to get loved on. But she does not react to the neighbors Harley. |

| Sandy does this too. My friends said that she could recognized our car sound when we were a way down the road and went right to the window.

| Biddy does the same thing! It's so sad, I hate to look at her in the window when we're leaving The good news is that I don't think she sits there the entire time that we are out. If my boyfriend leaves and I am home alone with her she'll sit in the window until he drives away. Then when he comes home she runs like a bat out of hell back to the window! I don't know how she knows that it's him! We live on a pretty busy street & there are lots of cars that drive by all day long! It's amazing!! |
