| Unfortunately, no, you should not give her a bath until her stiches come out. My vet told me not to give Hobbs a bath until his stitches were out. He had to wait 2 weeks |

| I would say it would be best to ask your vet that question. When will the stitches come out? Do they usually leave them in that long? Or are they stitches that disolve? You can take the stitches out yourself, when it's time. I've done it on cats. just snip them and pull them out. |

| Ok, I admit it, I gave Tiki a bath after about ten days before her stitches were out. She's a Maltese, so it was driving me crazy, as she was looking less then white. But you really shouldn't, just a few more days to wait.

| Huh?! My girl was spayed just a WEEK ago, and they scheduled me to come have stitches taken out TOMORROW! Is this incorrect?! They LOOK ready to come out, to me!

| She's beautiful Just wanted to say that I would wait until the stiches are removed. Have you tried any of the dry doggie shampoos? They might work! |

| Dumb question here. Why aren't they using internal stitches? That's what my vet uses and she said I could give mine a bath after a few days.
