| Ok... So I brought him home. I'm almost regretting doing it right now, but hopefully it'll get better the next couple days. He barks and whines a lot, and is marking everyhing in my house he can find! I feel so bad that I'm keeping him kenneled in the kitchen right now, but he's going to have to stay there until I can get some belly bands (Who has the fastest shipping?? LOL) I kinda feel bad for Pixie. She's sulking and just isn't acting like herself today. Hopefully she'll get used to him (and vice versa) over the next few weeks and they'll be best of friends... I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I was brushing him when I first got him home and found a couple really bad mats that I just couldn't work out, so I ended up shaving him down into a summer cut right away. He has a TON of hair though so I'm sure it'll all grow back in no time. I'm off to search for YTers selling belly bands, I know there's a few of you out there! Can anyone promise to have my order to Milwaukee by Monday??! |

Pixie's full name is Pixie Stix... Can anyone think of a good candy type boy name that'll go along with Pixie? | |

| How exciting. They will be best of buds before you know it. I know they might cost more, but I have seen belly bands at Petmart, or try a baby diaper, of there was a YT member that made one out of a towel. Good luck.

| Those are all good names... We thought up Skittles, Charleston Chew, Twix, Snickers... I like Cracker Jack though. Then I could call him Jack.. But we already have a Jack on here. Is YT big enough fro the two of 'em?! Last night was aweful. He barked and whined for probably 6 hours straight. I'm hoping he's just trying to adjust to new place and tonight will be better.... |

| Thanks guys! It's nice to know I have some support in trying to take care of this little guy! Last night went much better. I figured out that if I covered up his "walls" (the xpen) with a sheet he stays quieter. Maybe being completely blocked in like he's in a small little room makes him feel more secure... At any rate, he only complained for a few minutes and then went out like a light. He ate quite a bit last night, he hadn't touched his food before then. I guess he didn't like that I had mixed his normal food in with a little bit of dry food from another brand. He'll only eat Iams Smart Puppy (yuck!). Hopefully I can get him to switch to something better over the next couple weeks. This morning I got up to let them out. It was raining, so naturally neither Pixie nor "Fudgie" wanted to step off the porch... In my half sleepy state I'm looking around trying to find "Fudgie" and then figured out he was right by my feet... Marking my leg! I need to get him to the vet ASAP to get him neutered before it gets any worse. Pixie doesn't seem to mind him at all. If anything, I'm sure she's happier because now that he needs to be kept in the xpen, she gets full run of the kitchen & living room. Hopefully I won't come home to any messes.... Sorry for rambling on about all this, no one else seems to care enough to listen to me talk about him! |

| Kelly- Glad to hear the little guy and Pixie are adjusting well. I'm sure YT is big enough for two "Jacks". There are lots of babies with the same name here. Whatever you decide on - keep loving him and you'll all do just fine!
