Okay Tommy went to the vet he didn't have a whole lot there but its done and he got his nails trimed some frontline and heartgard so he is good to go He bit the lady that was triming his nails but didn't break the skin. I think he is still a he was a big 3.5 lbs today and he is 6 months he is soo tiny . He was mad when we got home because I took him to the vet so he was trying to tear up my house slipper..lol But all is good now and he is sleeping. Thanks all your the best

I think you can have the glands removed if it becomes a constant problem. There is a bad smell too, if the anal glands are clogged. It's just a little gland, like a pimple, and they basically squeeze it to express it. The smell is horrendous.

Trust me its even worse on a bigger dog. I let the groomer do it. I will do a lot of things but I am not going there. It can stay uncharted territory!
