| Starsky's giving me the cold shoulder! Now that I brought Shylah home, Starsky is mad at me. I go to give him loves and kisses and he turns his head and trys to get away. He smells Shylah on me. He won't loose site of me though. If I run upstairs he follows. In fact he is sitting at my feet right now. He really barked when I brought Shylah and her pen into our room, Where he sleeps!! She will sleep in the pen and he will sleep with us for now. I sure hope he gets used to her. She really wants to play and he just runs away. He is almost 4 times her size!

| Starsky will get used to him eventually, dogs sulk and get their feelings hurt. Actually, cats do too. Pets have more complex emotions than alot of people give them credit for. Soon Starsky will love Shylah.

| We rescued a 5 month old yorkie a few months ago and my 2 year old yorkie did the same thing your Starsky is doing. He totally ignored me and gave me the "evil eye". I felt so bad for him that I was going to find the new baby a good home (this was my intention when I got him but you know what happened with that). This behavior went on for three weeks and then gradually Rags started to play with the new addition but always when he thought we weren't watching. Now they are pals and everything is peacful once again. I hope your furkids will start to get along too and they most likely will given time. |

| We brought our new puppy home on Sunday, and Hobbs' feelings are REALLY hurt! He gives us the evil eye and cold shoulder AND he is really acting up. It is like he has reverted back to his puppy days...he is going to the bathroom in the house! He has been potty trained for months and months...I know that is he doing it because we have this new puppy. He also wants to play with the puppy so bad, but he is just too rough for her right now so we really have to supervise their play. I am just hoping that Hobbs will be used to the new addition soon, and hopfully with time his pottying in the house will cease. |
