| Yet another Breeder Scam I responded to an ad in Craigslist yesterday the ad only said Yorkie puppies for adoption, so I was courious and wrote to him asking about the puppies, this is what he wrote - Has anyone heard of this breeder that hes talking about, I can't get another Yorkie right now but I figured I check it out since he didn't supply much info in the ad. "The ad was actually put up by Hillary Pearson who also just forwarded ur email to me.I got the puppies from Pearson (a breeder based in New York,USA.) which I intend to breed, but unfortunately we were picked for the programe in Europe (Spain),I actually had to bring the puppies along with me to Spain few days ago when I left the US since nobody came to pick them up.They are 1 male and 1 female. But now things are really tough around here due to the fact that I have to go from different communities around and giving lectures to the natives and this has taken me a bit far from this puppies, thus I am willing to give them out to someone that can really take care of them, they are currently 3 months old, weighs 2.1lbs and are expected to be 4 lbs at maturity. They are upto date on all shots, with certified health certificates, complete vaccination and worming records, rabies shots, and their one year health guarantee, thay are both potty trained with excellent temperament.Adopting a puppy cost $150 and shipping cost is $150,1 puppy = $300 shipped. Murray." |

| Just me but I would never buy a dog unseen, Probably wouldn't buy one that had to be shipped. Stay away from ads where the person is so far away you have to email them.. These crappy people give real breeders a bad name.

| No I would never get a puppy shipped to me..When I got Lady I did some searching and found a breeder near me... The only reason I responed to the ad was cause it only said Yorkie puppies for adoption so I wanted to see if it was maybe someone local unable to care for them or something of that sort. then I get this whole story and that they are in spain. |

| There seeems like there are a million of these out there. I know I seen alot of them on nextday pets, and websites like that. Never buy from someone who is suddenly out of the country. These people basically use the same story. |
