| AKC # question Anyone know if there is a way to find out the breed of a dog by the AKC #? im just curious to know, because i wasnt able to see the parents of her, i know shes a yorkie, but i just wanted to see if there was a way to find out what her parents were??? |

| [SIZE=2]If you have the parents info and the sire is AKC registered, you can get his DNA number IF he sired 3 litters in a year or 7 in his lifetime. There are no tests to determine breed, however. If you want to make a request to have the sire ID'd (who fathered your baby) you will have to post a sum of money and file the request.
