| I hate to tell you but if your dog ( and I don't care what breed) bit my horse you wouldn't have to worry about a muzzle because your dog would have been shot! I do not like people who let their dogs run free and don't keep them off of other peoples property. We have a neighbor dog who runs threw here and chases our horses. He would be dead by now but so far he never shows up when I have the gun ready. This is crazy. You need to keep your dog on a leash and away from other peoples property and animals and most of all kids. One of these days if the horse dosn't get him a gun will.

| ok first of all why did you let the dog get to that point, why did it take him biting a HORSE to have him trained? you've put your dog in a very dangerous position, letting him be that way. his training is up to you, but now he might not ever be happy because of this developed attitude. something went wrong somewhere, dogs are not born like that.

| I swear, I just do not buy this story..BUT, I keep telling people that Yorkies do not know they are NOT Rottweillers and must be trained as any other dog.. Muzzling the dog is the answer to me until it is properly trained. If this is a true story, I am just happy that the horse's arse was not a child's face... |

| I think this is a troll trying to stir controversy on YT. This happens every so often. Ignoring the thread would be the best idea.

| My horse story!!!!!!!! I think this is a troll also BUT, I live in the Bluegrass area of kentucky. Everyone, it seems, has horses. My farm with all our beagles and yorkies is right next to a small family farm with four horses. They graze right next to my fence all the time. I can pet their noses. I have a rabbit wire fence there to keep my dogs in. When I let little three pound Ceeby out, it the horses are there, he runs as hard as he can and barks his brains out while standing on his hind legs. I swear, if he could get thru that fence somebody would get hurt bad. i often go and pick him up because he is so excited, I am afraid he will have a heart attack. Every nerve in his little body is rigid. it is so funny. he really thinks he could tackle those horses and they don't even bat an eye at all the racket. |

| Logan goes after the horses at my mom's also, but he's not trying to attack them. He thinks they are big dogs & he's just trying to play. So for this reason he must stay on a leash when we're at my mom's house & the horses are out. One misplaced hoof & no more Logan & it's just not worth it. This whole thing just doesn't make sense for 2 reasons. One if you've ever tried to give a horse a shot you know their skin is rather thick, so I find it hard to believe that a yorkie has enough jaw pressure to break the skin that badly & two if you have horses you've seen the way they freak out when getting bit by a horse fly, I can only imagine the trantrum they would through if something bit them hard enough to need stitches. I find it hard to believe if a little dog was that close when the tantrum occured that he could get out of there unscathed.
